It's true that in an emerging market, older five-star hotels that don't keep up with the times can face significant challenges. However, the human element of service is dynamic, and as a benchmark in the service/hotel industry, every staff member here left a great impression on me. The concierge asked if I needed a carry bag when storing my luggage; when I told them I didn't need housekeeping the next day and requested a bottle of water, the attendant immediately gave me four. For my two-night stay, I was provided with welcome fruit, and upon checkout, I was even given packed fruit and snacks to take with me. The room's cleanliness and facilities were generally very good. The surrounding environment is perfect for a slow-paced trip. Highly recommended."

"So incredibly NOISY! 1. There was a constant gurgling sound coming from the exterior wall all day long, from morning till night. I'm not sure if it was internal equipment or if the wall itself needed maintenance. 2. There was extremely loud mechanical construction happening nearby, non-stop from morning till night. 3. The hallway wasn't soundproof, which I guess is a common issue in many hotels. 4. In the middle of the night, the sound of water being used next door was incredibly loud – the soundproofing was practically non-existent!!!! And this is supposed to be a five-diamond hotel, ranked fifth among luxury hotels in Linyi? You might as well be number one for noise! I've stayed in countless hotels both domestically and internationally – near airports with planes taking off and landing, and even in logistics parks with heavy trucks constantly coming and going – but your hotel definitely takes the cake for noise!"
