Flora Chiado Apartments

I’m convinced this is the best place to stay in Lisbon! The front desk is super helpful in setting up excursions, and making the stay as comfortable as possible. It was so quiet for being in the central part of the city. We loved the bread delivery placed on our door every morning, and the goodies that are put in the fridge. We would definitely stay here again! One of our favorite places we have stayed in all of our travels.

We just enjoyed an absolutely wonderful stay at the Flora Chiado Apartments. As a family of four with two adult kids we try to give ourselves some space when we travel together, and given generally smaller rooms—even suites, in Europe, I was planning to book two hotel rooms for each night until I came across the Flora Chiado Apartments. We were fortunate to be able to stay in 3D, the T2 Duplex - a 2 story unit with 2 bedrooms each with its own full bathroom up, and on the main floor of the unit a fully equipped kitchen, large living room, an extra half bath and outdoor terrace. The unit was extremely nice, very comfortable, and well decorated. I do not need to stay in the nicest, most expensive hotels when I travel but I also travel frequently for work and am very picky about the places I stay in and frankly keep very high standard (20 years ago I stopped believing in the “hey its ok Im only in there when I sleep”). The refrigerator was also partially stocked—fruits, cheese, meats, milk, water (morning bread service was great), plus additional charge minibar items. The cost was much less than two rooms at a nice hotel in the same area for much more space and an overall better experience with high quality hotel service benefits — luggage storage, front desk service and concierge capability, daily unit cleaning and restocking, airport transfer bookings, etc. Location was great - right in the middle of everything - we walked everywhere (except to Sintra and Cascais) and there are plenty of great restaurants, cafes, shops, squares, etc. right outside the door or just a few minutes away. But as nice and well located as the Flora Chiado Apartments are, the very best part is the staff - Rita and Liliana were so warm, welcoming, helpful, eager to assist and just always an absolute delight. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lisbon for both the place itself and the people who make it so special.

What a spectacular hotel/VRBO/Residence. Not sure exactly what category it fell under but the location and loft like two bedroom we had were perfect. Plus a specacular kitchen, near all the fun stuff. If you're looking for a spot in Lisbon and traveling with another family or have kids this is the spot. No pool, no parking, no restaurant, no matter. We loved it.

The rooms were beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. We had the two story unit which gave everyone some much needed privacy (and so helpful to have an extra toilet on the first floor of the unit). The breakfast foods were delicious, and we loved having a huge quantity and variety of fruit for fresh squeezed juice daily. We were there over the holidays, and the unit was decorated and they brought an amazing king cake for the family, The real selling point is the amazing staff who had recommendations for everything from shopping and touring to dining (so many amazing vegetarian restaurants nearby). It's an understandably very popular place so book it if at all possible! You won't regret staying here!!

After a week living in these beautiful and large apartments, we were sad to leave the place. The location is perfect, right in the middle of a lovely part of Lisbon, next to everything, but at the same time, very quiet and private. The design is awesome, just the right mix of old and modern. The beds are very comfy. The fridge is quite generously filled with food for breakfast. Plus the bag of fresh bread, croissants and egg tarts (natas) every morning. The kitchen was so well furnished, I even took a picture of the selection of glasses, more than I even have at my own house.The personnel (Daniel and Lillian were the ones we got to meet more often) was very professional, kind and helpful with their advice and recommendations. And Mrs. Andrade (who unfortunately we didn't meet) was great at re-arranging our bookings through these difficult Covid times). Through them, we booked a private chauffeur (Julien) who was knowledgeable, very friendly and easy-going; we took three excursions during the week and his partner drove us to Porto at the end of the week with a quick stop and lunch in Obidos. All six of us, in two different apartments, really enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend these delightful apartments. We will go back for sure.
