I stayed here for two nights with my teenage son and his friend. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast attendant! She was very kind and checked on everyone, making accommodations as needed and keeping things very clean and stocked. The front desk staff was also very nice and always helpful, friendly and attentive. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot even begin to describe what an absolute s*** hole this place is. But even more then how disgusting and filthy it is, is the so called general manager and the housekeeping staff!!! WhT a joke. I’ve had staff walk into my room, while occupied! Without even announcing who they were. I book my room on a third party website every single night. Most of the staff understand I work midnights, so during the early morning hours I am sound asleep! Until this morning when the general manager began banging on my door screaming to the top of his lungs about me needing to come “sign a piece of paper” in 10 mins or I can get the h*ll out!!!!! Seriously to sign a piece of paper. The room has been paid for. Far in advance. And the way the staff act is more then unacceptable!!!! This place should be shut the hell down permanently. It’s old and disgusting and needs renovations that clearly they cannot afford!!! Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dump!!!!

The hotel was overall an excellent place. Some rooms are older but being renovated. The renovations were not intrusive during my stay. My room was quiet with no traffic or noise from other rooms. The breakfast selections were a small variety and could vary day to day. They do have coffee available 24/7 which was a plus to me. There is a small patio behind the pool area that could use some new cushions but was otherwise a nice surprise. My room and bedding were clean. The furniture was clean with no stains. I will definitely be staying here when I’m in the area

Stayed a weekend here while attending a volleyball event downtown Detroit. Paid half the price of staying downtown and it was only about a 15-20 minute drive in so it wasn't bad. Check in was easy, room was clean and although there was some cosmetic things that could be fixed, it was at least clean. Wasn't able to use the pool or fitness area, but they both looked clean from the door. Though I heard the pool was out of towels and there was a lot of water in the hallway leading to pool. We had an issue with our fridge, but they rectified that to our satisfaction, beyond what we would expect. The only complaint (use that lightly) is that we had to leave the hotel by 7:05 to get downtown in time and we asked if it was possible to get breakfast before 7:00 and it was a flat ”no”. Worth a try I guess as most other hotels are very accomodating to this and will even offer to go bags ready to go for early departures. Just an idea for future, perhaps.

In town for a family visit we stayed at this hotel for the first time. One of the best in the area. Check in was quick and seamless. Our room key was ready at arrival. Mike at the front desk was extremely helpful with any questions I had regarding our stay. The room was clean and bright and quiet. Beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. The room had plenty of amenities to make you feel at home and if you needed anything cleaning staff was available to provide. Modern shower with good water pressure Excellent breakfast with many items to choose from and Clarice was there to keep all stations well stocked. If your going to stay in the area this is the place. Very competitive pricing
