📍 Av. Murtala Mohammed, Luanda

"During our round trip in Angola, we spent three nights at this guesthouse. It is located on a peninsula off Luanda. Everything gives a well-kept and clean impression. The rooms are of normal size. A few small renovations would probably be needed in certain corners of the building. From the large rooftop terrace, you have a nice view of the sea and towards downtown Luanda with its skyline. Besides breakfast, it is also possible to have lunch and dinner there. For this, you are added to a WhatsApp group when you check in. A few hours beforehand, you receive a choice of two dishes each time, which you can reserve. The food is good. Meals are eaten together with the other guests at a large table on the ground floor. All the staff were very friendly and spoke English."

📍 Nehru 2, Luanda

"Opened in 2023, this is the most luxurious hotel in Luanda. The facilities are brand new and comprehensive, including a swimming pool. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, with authentic pastries and delicious smoked salmon. They also have a good selection of cheeses. On weekends, there's even live entertainment in the lobby."

"Congratulations on the service. The hotel was much better than I expected. The location is great and there has been a significant improvement in service since my last stay in 2023! The best choice for those needing a stopover between flights or to explore the city. They offered road trips around Luanda and a meeting room! Congratulations to the management!"

"Spent 2 nights here, the hotel is close to central Luanda and some of the attractions. Expensive, small rooms, bed was comfy, intermittent hot water in a small shower room but that's about all. Breakfast basic, but they would cook an omlette on request. Wifi is available and parking around the corner"

"Enjoyed my stay but the road works made the hotel not easily accessible. Some taxi drivers got lost which was made worse because of lack of signage. The owners should put signage with the hotel name it’s not written anywhere. The staff were so helpful though especially Anna Maria and Abel. Keep up the good work guys"

"We had a wonderful stay at Art House! The location is perfect if you’re looking to be within walking distance of the beach. The rooms were comfortable, beautifully maintained, and cleaned daily, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What really stood out was the warm, homely atmosphere. Art House has a cozy, family-like feel, and both the staff and fellow guests were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooftop was another highlight, offering breathtaking views of both Luanda’s skyline and the beach—especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset. The included breakfast was delicious and a great way to start each day. Overall, Art House offers fantastic value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel breakfast selection was limited, mostly bread, with only one or two kinds of fruit. The housekeeping staff didn't speak much English, communicating only in Portuguese, but they were very thorough. The hotel front desk staff spoke English without difficulty. Rooms facing the street were a bit noisy at night, but the hotel quickly arranged a room change for us the next day. No slippers were provided; you need to bring your own."

"Stay for the night. The room or suite had everything to cater to your needs ,myself didn't get time to appreciate, breakfast and evening meals were of a buffet type . Would recommend to travellers to stay here. In the centre of luanda, but I didn't venture out as I was only stopping for a short stay "
