I checked in on the first day of the ***** New Year, so the festive atmosphere wasn't strong. At check-in, the front desk recommended a Huazhu Club membership, saying it included a room upgrade and free breakfast. At 49 yuan, it seemed inexpensive, so I signed up. However, the price on the WeChat mini-program was higher than on Ctrip, so the membership wasn't as appealing as I expected.
