Not really any surprises - basically what you’d mostly expect from a hotel of this price in Macau although given the close proximity to both Wynn and MGM makes Hotel President a great value location for people interested in playing poker there.

Located just two or three bus stops away from Macao Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, took bus no. 3 and arrived quickly at hotel. Very well decorated reception hall and well maintained room. Our suite was very spacious with one living room, one toilet in the living room, one bedroom with two beds, one bathroom with bathing area & bathtub and TVs with a well maintained fridge! Just down the hotel have eateries around and also a bus stop as well as taxi stand! Very well located and value for money hotel. Behind the hotel (Oriental Gate) have bus stop to catch a bus to Ruins of St. Paul’s! If you walk down the hotel towards the direction of Sands Hotel Macao, there are free coaches to go to all the major casinos and shopping malls!

Hotel ini terletak di lokasi yang baik, mudah untuk melancong, makan dan membeli-belah, dan mudah untuk mendaftar masuk di pelbagai tarikan. Hotel ini menjimatkan kos dan bilik-bilik adalah luas. Kedua-dua katil di dalam bilik berkembar adalah besar. Perkhidmatan meja depan adalah baik, biliknya agak bersih, dan tidak ada bau yang pelik Secara keseluruhan, saya sangat berpuas hati.

Our check-in with the help of staff 趙嘉敏, just 5mins to get our room and I need to thanks so much for Joel who very care of us. When we check-in he noticed that we had a lugguage with us and told us that just leave it at a distance that can be looked after While check-out he is very patient to listen my comment that the chair in our room one of the leg is not fixed well and he will reflect to the management. Last but not the least that thanks for Ms. Jessy who toke my IDD call for my special request as we are coming from Hong Kong as because we just made booking less than 12hrs before check-in. She really made remarks to my needs and why I know it's her who pick up my call and well prepared a room before our arrival as when we check-out, by a few chit chat and knows that it's her who received my calls and pay attention to our needs.

I had a comfortable stay with Hotel Golden Dragon on my first solo trip to Macau. Staff were warm and welcoming and were really helpful when I needed help with directions. Room was clean and amenities were topped up promptly during the daily room cleaning! I liked how the sheets and towels smelt and felt clean and fresh. The hotel is close to the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and the shuttle terminal is also located nearby (apparently it has been temporarily moved to near ****** Oceanus due to renovation works at the ferry terminal). The only disappointment was the location for me. Although it’s close to the shuttle bus terminal and to public bus stops, I felt like it was not as “convenient” if I chose to stay near the Taipa area. But nonetheless I could be spoilt due to Singapore’s public transport system. Light rail works seems to be expanding and I do hope the next time I visit Macau, I could consider my stay with them again if public transportation or shuttle service is more convenient. Oh, last feedback would be hotel’s hair dryer is really dated which was a little hard to use.

The hotel is directly opposite the Grand Lisboa, which is convenient for a sightseeing route. a good breakfast, although not at all varied. Unlike in mainland China, the staff speaks excellent English. friendly staff at the reception, who also made an upgrade.

Nice hotel considering the money you pay. They checked us in two hours late BUT they upgraded our room, which was very nice of them. Overall, good experience, quite convenient location and nice staff. One little disadvantage: the loudness of air conditioner. I think it could make less noise or no noise, when working. But if you are too tired, you will fall asleep anyway, ahahhaha

Very nice hotel. Not attached to a huge ****** and tho the sands is next door. I prefer this type of hotel size personally Swimming pool and gym, nice spread for breakfast, tho extra cost. Pleasant staff. All round good stay. On a personal note, I prefer a room that has access to fresh air rather than just air con. Bay view image.

The hotel rooms need to be updated- they’re worse for wear. Stained furniture, holes in towels, stained carpet. The gym is great. But the saving point to this place is the staff - they’re kind and doing their very very best with a hotel that needs work. Honestly I wouldn’t stay here again unless the owners spend some money and refit it. It’s not to the Ascott standard. The hardest part is getting good staff and they have this so it is strange they don’t do some cosmetic updates and bring this hotel up to standard.

It wasn’t too close to the tourists location but it wasn’t far either. The room was clean and nice even with 3 beds. The had people who spoke English so that was awesome and easy. However, the breakfast staff didn’t. The breakfast wasn’t good. The food was extremely limited, almost nothing. Western food there was bread and oatmeal porridge was good. Otherwise it was ok.
