Super great hotel to stay. Very nice smile at the front desk and concierge. MO is still my favorest stay choice with no doubt.

Always great staying here. Location amazing. Gym might be a little better, but still satisfied.

A spotlessly clean hotel within 10 minutes walk of the central train station, which also has a direct bus link to the airport. Located close to several major art galleries and the botanical gardens. Plenty of local bars for breakfast and other meals. Very helpful staff and the opportunity to leave bags after check out if you have a late flight. However, do not expect high standards to come cheap.

The hotel is located in Salamanca district. Nearby there are many boutiques of famous brands. So, if you are going shopping for Madrid, this hotel is a great choice. Despite the rather modest appearance, the inside of the hotel is very elegant. Light and cozy rooms. Wonderful service. Lovely breakfast.

From the moment we arrived until our departure, the staff at Urso were simply fantastic. Welcoming, helpful, attentive, informative and impressionable are only but a few ways to describe the team. Arturo was top of our list and a special thanks to him. The hotel itself is well located, beautiful, clean and modern. My feedback to customers would be to check the finite details when booking through third parties as this may deprive usage of their excellent spa facilities. In addition, if you are used to a firm pillow, it is suggestible to carry your own as Urso only provide the softest pillows! Happy travels!

Beautiful hotel, great food, good location Excellent service. The room are very clean with one of the most comfortable bad. The TV has a casting option which is a great benefit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They prepare a breakfast picnic box upon request.

Perfect location right in the middle of the main shopping belt. Pleasantly surprised at the warm service at the reception. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Cute deco too I booked a family room n it was spacious for us 4.

We stayed 4 nights before Christmas. The hotel was quite nice and very festive! Very much enjoyed the large area around and up to the hotel bar on the ground level. Nice place to relax, and also have a drink. We did not eat at the hotel however. The staff was also quite pleasant and we got a quiet room higher up facing the interior courtyard. The room was well kept, perfect size, and well furnished. The concierge helped us find things to do, and we learned how to get to the nearby metro stations to head downtown. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and with a number of very small boutique restaurants. Another added bonus was that the famous Sorolla Museum (His House) is just a few blocks away. We would return here.

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.
