"There is zero refund if cancelled or modified within 14 days even if they re-sell your room. I became sick 10 days before my trip and my doctor advised me not to travel. They would not consider a refund, nor a credit for a future stay nor would they let me transfer it to someone else. The policy is extremely strict. It’s run by a property management company like an Airbnb so you can expect that level of service and communication (e.g. no cleaning, no one to be there if you need help). You’ll be told after booking the requirement to sign an waiver by a Short Term Management rental company and put down a damage deposit, which is all fine if you were expecting an Airbnb-like experience. I would not risk booking here when there are plenty of beautiful boutique design options in Marfa that offer better service and terms."
