Sorry for the long post but this could save you a ton of money and countless hours of time. First off, this is not a 4-star hotel. At best, it is a 2-star. I had booked an extended stay at this hotel for 16 days and paid extra for the Junior Suite. My flight arrived late but I headed to my hotel to check-in and get some much needed rest. Upon arrival, a man by the name of Luis checked me in. During the check-in process, I mentioned I had booked the Junior Suite on their website and was looking forward to relaxing in the spacious room. To my surprise, when I got to my room, it was incredibly small for a suite. I asked Luis about this, and he said this was a Comfort Room. I had repeated that I paid extra for the Junior Suite, and he assured me the Comfort Room and Junior Suite were the same thing. When I asked about the suite on the website, he said that was the Executive Suite. Confused and tired, I figured I would sort this out in the morning after getting some rest. Well, that's where I was wrong. These rooms carry noise from all your surroundings. I'm not exaggerating when I say I could hear noise from every single car driving by, people walking in the streets, people walking in the halls, and my neighbors on both sides of the room. After tossing and turning for hours, at 5AM I decided to check the hotel's website to ensure I was given the suite I had paid extra for. Not surprisingly, there is no Executive Suite. I had paid for a Junior Suite and was put in a Comfort room. I decided to confront the receptionist as I couldn't sleep. I asked Luis why he lied to me, and he continued to say ”I don't know”. After some time, he had admitted my room had been given to another guest and I could get my suite the next day. Luis gave me the contact information to the managers for me to contact. At this point, I had had enough. I decided to check out and find another hotel. In the morning someone else had checked me out and assured me I would be receiving a refund in a matter of days (I had prepaid for all my nights). After a few days and not seeing a refund, I contacted the managers Luis had referred me to. Funny enough, Luis also gave me the wrong mobile number to the manager. After some digging, I was able to reach one of the managers, Dina Gomez. She then referred me to a different manager, Yuliana Botero. I worked with Yuliana for a few days who said I could come back to the hotel to process the refund. This unfortunately was not correct, so she then referred me to a different manager, Isaac Andres Rivero. I'm convinced the staff at this hotel have no idea what they're doing and give you false information just so they don't have to deal with customers. After some discussion with the Isaac Andres Rivero, he told me I had to pay the one night I stayed at the Comfort room before they could process my refund. I was hesitant and refused to give this hotel more money, but he was adamant in saying he could not process my refund until I paid for the Comfort ro

We would have rated this hotel at 5* but a checking out issue spoilt the whole stay for us! Yes the room needed a little attention - the shower nozzle hung down out of the ceiling, the shower handle came off the temperature regulator every time you adjusted it, the toilet seat kept falling down & had to be held up for me (male!),, the toilet itself was not fixed equi distant in the space between the shower screen & the wall & made sitting on it uncomfortable as you would then be squashed ........but none of these were major & would not have impacted our stay very seriously. We enjoyed the breakfast & the staff, generally were very good & helpful Upon checking out, we left a 50,000 COP tip. Then, On getting into our taxi, we were called back to be told we needed to pay 50,000 COP for a ”broken door key card”. The previous evening the door card did not work & it was replaced with nothing at that time being said. Now apparently we had ”damaged” it I refused to pay & said if they wanted the money to take it from the 50,000 COP tip I have stayed in hundreds of hotels using electronic key cards & if they ever had a problem, they were reprogrammed or replaced without issue Never have I encountered this situation before & I was annoyed & very disappointed that after a great stay, this was how it ended. As I said, this would probably have been a 5* review.....

The Morgana Poblado Suites Hotel's receptionist, Anderson, gives the property a very negative first impression, it was rude and unwelcoming, he didn't greet us. When I approached the reception desk and was asked for our passports by a young lady. They both became immigration inspectors going through the passport. Apparently they were looking for my arrival stamp. I was asked to find it, they weren't going to allow me to stay. When I found the immigration stamp they were looking for, I was asked about employment and what my position was. Anderson was shouting out the questions in front of everyone. Feeling very uncomfortable I went towards and spoke at a normal volume. Also, instead of asking for a credit card he immediately charged the credit card for the number of days I'm staying. What's customary is to give the card number and pay at the end guest's stay. After that ordeal, our room was assigned and we went to Rm. 308. From the moment we entered the room the smell of urine was unbearable, disgusting. I called reception, Anderson, and explained. After 20 minutes waiting a hotel employee shows up and had the audacity to ask us if we had consumed anything from the Mini-Bar, we had not even closed the door because of the foul odor. The positive was that the second room given had the two single beds we had originally requested, the other had one King size bed. The other hotel staff were lovely, during breakfast service they treated guests extremely well. I hope no one goes through what we went through. I will never stay or recommend this property to anyone. Cuando me acerqué al mostrador de recepción una joven nos pidió nuestros pasaportes. Ambos, Anderson y la joiven, se convirtieron en inspectores de imigracion revisando el pasaporte. Aparentemente estaban buscando mi sello de llegada. Me pidieron que lo encontrara, no me iban a dejar quedarme. Cuando encontré el sello de inmigración que buscaban, me preguntaron sobre mi empleo y cuál era mi titulo. Anderson estaba gritando las preguntas frente a todos. Sintiéndome muy incómodo me acerqué y hablé a un volumen normal. Además, en lugar de pedir una tarjeta de crédito, inmediatamente cargó la tarjeta de crédito por la cantidad de días que me quedé. Lo habitual es dar el número de tarjeta y pagar al final de la estancia del huésped. Después de esa terrible experiencia, nuestra habitación fue asignada y fuimos a la 308.
