"Nice sea view, even if I was in a lower floor (3/F) that the see was partially blocked by the trees. I was also able to get a magnificient shot on star trail, just from the balcony. The apartment itself is fine but a bit oldfashioned. Everyone menthioned the stupid Blue Fob, I had to say it's really stupid, it's not affecting the experimence much though. "

"Bowls and cups had some debris inside. We booked a large room for 6 people but were only provided with 2 sets of small toiletries: shampoo, body wash, conditioner, and one hairdryer. We needed to call reception twice; there was no answer on the first call. We asked for more toiletries on the first night, and the lady at the reception said she couldn't provide them that night and told us to meet her at reception the next morning. I did, but no one was there. I went three times. I finally got more shampoo, body wash, and conditioner on day 3 when I luckily met a staff member at the counter. The jacuzzi in the master room was under maintenance and couldn't be used. Overall, I was disappointed with the facilities and services. I do not recommend this place and will not visit again."

"What a lovely, lovely place this is. We stayed four nights and it just got better and better. You appreciate the apartment, the amenities, the location and outlook more and more. The quality of the furnishings and fit out is first class and very comfortable. There are many nice thoughtful touches put into it. The wireless controller for the TV and sound system was great, as were the selected DVDs and games in the room. There’s really nothing to critique; not only is it lovely, it’s very relaxing and becomes very liveable right away, The view to the beach and water is great as is the pool. And the location on the esplanade is convenient but not noisy at all. It’s not a cheap place to stay but you get what you pay for and they do seem to offer deals and packages often. We will definitely return."

"The location was amazing, however the apartment was not clean when we arrived. There was dust on the linen and we had to wash the linen before we could use it that night. Other people had parked in our allocated parking so we had to park outside of the secure parking. When we advised the reception of how dirty everything was they were not really concerned. We did eventually get a $100 refund however this didn't really seem to be fair considering we booked a penthouse apartment."

"2 of us stayed at the Waterfront house for a 5 night break and loved this peaceful property with the added benefit of a great private pool. The house is a few minutes drive from the seafront offering a wide choice of restaurants and eateries. The house was air conditioned in most rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The whole house was very clean and the laundry facilities were good. There was nothing to fault and we had a relaxing stay. The staff were also very kind and helpful."

"What a way to end a Queensland roadtrip.... absolutely shocking!! After a long trip down from northern Queensland, we had booked 2 nights in a alexandra headland before I returned to the Gold Coast & she to Melbourne. Looking forward to a restful, clean stay, I was horrified at what we walked into! We stayed in Apt 16 (which later noticed it had very bad reviews from previous guests). The state of the place was absolutely disgusting! Crumbs on the floor in living room/ kitchen, windows/ tracks were filthy, glad kitchen table wasn't cleaned, crumbs in between sofa cushions, TV in living room not working, corner overhead cupboard in kitchen almost feel on my head when opening it, fridge wasn't cleaned (we cleaned before putting out food in), spare blankets/ pillow thrown into wardrobe in master bedroom, beside lamps/ behead/ canvas on wall above bed in master bedroom covered in thick coat of dust, dirty cutlery in kitchen drawer etc etc!! I cannot believe that after receiving previous bad reviews on this assortment, the managers are still letting it out without rectifying the problems & charging what they do! Do yourself a favour & stay elsewhere.... there are much nicer, cleaner places in the area"

"No information provided before booking about the pool and kids games room being under construction. Our room had a great view of a concrete slab that slightly resembled a pool. Whilst looking into the neighbouring resort that had a nice pool. Having two boys aged 8 and 10 and showing them photos of where we were staying only to arrive and find out we couldn’t even go for a swim in the pool was very disappointing. Paid the extra money to stay there just because they had a nice pool and games room. Receptionist was unavailable and useless. Couldn’t even provide a second key let alone a parking spot for our room. Wouldn’t stay there again."
