I had a wonderful stay at this homestay during my visit to Jiuhua Mountain. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Flesh Palace Temple, while still offering a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. The facilities exceeded my expectations for a homestay. The room was modern, well-maintained, and equipped with high-quality amenities (Jurlique toiletries) that made the stay both comfortable and luxurious. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. From thoughtful welcome fruits and helpful sightseeing recommendations to assistance with luggage, every detail was handled with care. Their genuine kindness made my pilgrimage to Jiuhua Mountain even more memorable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay (Huachengsi Branch) with our family, and it was without question one of the most satisfying accommodations we have experienced in recent years. From the very beginning to the moment we checked out, everything felt thoughtful, well-organized, and genuinely welcoming. Even before our arrival, the host proactively contacted us via WeChat to confirm details and assist with planning. Communication was extremely smooth and responsive — no matter what time of day we had questions, we always received quick and helpful replies. For a destination like Jiuhua Mountain, where logistics and routes can feel overwhelming for first-time visitors, this kind of support makes a huge difference and immediately puts you at ease. The room itself exceeded our expectations. It was spacious, bright, and very comfortable, with a layout that worked perfectly for a family stay. Unlike many homestays that feel cramped, this room had plenty of space to relax, unpack, and truly rest. The bedding was clean and soft, and the overall atmosphere was calm and quiet, allowing us to sleep extremely well. Housekeeping standards were excellent — everything felt carefully maintained and spotlessly clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea, which was freely available and not limited or rushed. This wasn’t just a symbolic offering; it was something you could genuinely enjoy at your own pace. Sitting down in such a peaceful environment with tea and snacks after a day of sightseeing was incredibly relaxing. It added a sense of warmth and hospitality that you don’t often find, especially in scenic-area accommodations. Throughout our stay, the host remained available and attentive without ever being intrusive. Whether we needed advice on sightseeing routes, dining recommendations, or small practical help, everything was handled patiently and efficiently. You truly feel that the host cares about your experience, not just about running a business. Traveling with family can sometimes be stressful, but staying here made everything feel effortless. The location is another strong advantage. Situated near Huacheng Temple, the homestay is in a quiet area that feels removed from crowds, yet it’s still very convenient for visiting key temples and attractions. Evenings were peaceful and silent, which is exactly what you want after a full day at Jiuhua Mountain. The surrounding atmosphere perfectly matches the calm and reflective nature of the destination. What impressed us most was the overall sense of being well taken care of. This is not a place where service is performative or scripted — it feels sincere and consistent. From the communication, to the comfort of the room, to the little details like afternoon tea and thoughtful guidance, everything worked together to create a genuinely memorable stay. In summary, Jiuhuashan Alley Homestay offers not only comfortable accommodation, but also warmth, reliability, and peace of mind. 一處很不錯的民宿，管家們待人接物都很熱情有分寸。能為住客考慮。特別是我們第2天是下午的火車回家，吃好早飯還要去禮佛。管家們讓我們把隨身物品整理好寄放在他們那裡，讓我們差不多結束時電話他們，幫我們送至山門口，使我們可以輕裝“上陣”。而且送出來時因為堵車怕我們久等，妹妹還是走過來的，真是的是非常感激。入住後，管家還我們設定了第2天禮佛的路線，非常合理不走回頭路，全部結束正好行至山門口準備下山。民宿的菜也很好吃，竹筍燒肉、小魚等都符合我們的口味。早飯很豐盛，一個人根本吃不完。看臨桌還可以把即定的早餐粗糧換了麪條。地理位置也不錯，就斜對着月身寶殿，又沿着九華街，出行非常方便。設施未給滿分，是我們這個房型既然沒有放物品的桌子或擱板，很不方便，建議可以在電視機下做一塊可以摺疊的長條板，也不破壞整體佈置。我們下次還會去的噢*

和朋友每年都會來九華山 今年想輕鬆一點 特意訂在了山上居住 民宿很乾凈環境很好 我們去正好是陰天 房間裏的大窗户可以到外面的雲海 很漂亮 民宿老闆很好 提前和我們説了到了他去接我們. 我們做了換乘大巴上山 在檢票口那裡給老闆打電話。老闆過了兩分鐘就來接我們了 真的很快哈哈哈哈。最最重要的是 這個民宿可以免費帶着我們上山禮佛 老闆也前一天提前和我們説了是免費的。他家的早飯也是免費的 不過我太懶了 沒起來吃哈哈 老闆帶我們上山走的路都是非常省時省力的路。全程給我們講重點介紹 也沒有推銷 因為這次的體驗太完美了 導致我覺得去年花200請導遊像冤大頭一樣。 我們下山之後老闆還幫我們送到了檢票口坐換乘大巴。總而言之 這是一次非常舒心愉快的居住體驗 朋友很喜歡他家的床 説睡的舒服。我們以後都會定這家的 哈哈哈哈 不是託哦！如果大家有在山上居住需求的話可以看看這家哦。

This is a very new and excellent guesthouse in Jiuhuashan and it turned out to be a great find! The location is fantastic, right along the lively Jiuhua Street. Just across the road is the main bus transfer station, which makes it super convenient for us to take the tourist buses to the 肉身宝殿and 天台索道 There’s also a shortcut to 化城寺— only about a 5–7 minute walk. Overall, the location is very convenient with plenty of food and amenities nearby — nothing to complain about at all. The guesthouse is very well managed: the rooms are new, clean, and warmly decorated, and the owners are very friendly. We’ll definitely come back again!

此行朝拜五台山、普陀山、九華山，一路所遇客棧都很好，但唯有這家堪稱“人生客棧”，實為多年旅宿體驗中的最佳，值得力薦！ 客棧24年開業，設施嶄新潔凈，花灑水流充沛，洗澡體驗💦超棒！地理位置極佳，處於核心區域，步行至祇園寺僅約700米，距九華街也非常近。 服務尤為超羣： 不僅提供景區範圍內的全程接送（電話隨打隨通），在近40℃的酷暑中，這份便利至關重要！老闆娘更是大氣周到，冰鎮飲料、水果、茶水頻繁主動地送至房間，消暑解渴，體貼入微。 素食體驗很驚喜，初看菜單素食很少，本不抱太高期待，結果每道菜都很驚艷，強烈推薦油燜茶樹菇、清炒水芹菜、家常豆腐。 我會再來，也會推薦朋友來，感謝老闆周到大氣的服務，希望生意興隆越來越好。

The hotel is located a stone throw away after alighting from the tourist bus at the entrance to scenic area (50RMB to n fro the foot of the mountain). Had already chatted with owner on WeChat n he fetched me after I alighted . Room is clean and functional . Am an easy traveller and very satisfied with the hotel. Of course you can walk around and look for a hotel (there are many many hotels !!!!!!) but I think if u pre book u will make your life easier especially if u have a luggage. He planned the itinerary for me. and it was a very fulfilling walking trip in nature visiting temples and paying respects to 地藏菩萨 . So many restaurants too!!!!!!!! He even sent me to the bus station . Thank u He is a kind soul . He quickly called me when he see me walking in “wrong direction” when actually i wanted to visit the temple next to bus stop . 睡起來舒服，清凈，未住之前老闆會打電話給你，會提供一些細節上的訊息，是否開車呀還是坐車，令自己更方便的加強行程出發，知道我訂的房型沒有提供早餐，還免費送了早餐，解決了早餐問題煩惱，還親自開車送到下山的上車點，從細節上能感受到老闆的熱情，並不是因為某種好處亂吹捧的，實踐出真知，可惜忘記拍幾張房間圖片了，如果有機緣再去九華山的話，應該會優先考慮再次入住。

This is a nice place to put up for a night or 2 or even longer. The location is ok but the flight of stairs up to the reception and the room is not too fun if you have big and heavy luggage. Apart from this everything is lovely. Room is clean and the beds are comfortable. I love that the room is very bright. The toilet is fully automated. Shower water pressure is good too. We had noodles for lunch there and they are yum! Breakfast is simple but delicious. I think you can ask for seconds (we did not as we were rushing to go out). There is a convenience store just right opposite and along the way, plenty of eateries. Call them and they will pick you up from Julong hotel and drop you off there too when you check out. I don’t mind staying here again but only if I have a small bag.

The location of this so ideal for me. It was very peaceful and the room was facing the DiZhang Bodhisattva. I could do my prayer, meditation and connect with DiZhang Bodhisattva daily. The recption is friendly and helpful. The furnishing and the resort hotel facilities were old. The sound proof of the room was poor as you could hear some guests were talking and shouting. But luckily it was a low season. Local Chinese will flood these areas duing the Labor day (01-03 May) and their National day (01-07 Oct). Please avoid visiting duing these periods. High speed rail - Jiuhuashan station just completed. Use this station to access Jiuhuashan. Less than 30min to reach Jiuhua Mountain Dayuan Culture Park (九华山大愿文化园). Highly recommend to stay around the 九华山风景区柯村新区.
