This hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with polite and friendly staff. All the catering staff were super friendly too. The gardens and pools in this hotel is what set it apart from all other hotels and of course the spa would be a huge draw for people. Super clean and comfortable rooms and the breakfast was fabulous. All tastes catered for and a huge array of healthy foods with a fabulous smoothie counter, where you can have any smoothie of your liking. A fabulous long weekend. The only downside to this hotel is the inside bar. A weird location and completely soulless. Other than that i give it top marks for everything and will definitely be coming again.

Gran Melia Sancti Petri is located on a stunning white sand Atlantic beach. Having its own subbed and excellent beach club helps visitors to make the most of the excellent location. Watching the sunset over the sea from the beach club is an amazing experience not to be missed. The hotel facilities are excellent and every where is kept immaculately. Huge swimming pool and more than enough comfortable sunbeams for all guests. The Red Level Level Lounge is highly recommended for drinks and snacks throughout the day and also for a really good breakfast in a more private setting than the main restaurant. The buffet restaurant has a great range of food to choose from for evening dinner, however, the new Entrevientos restaurant should not be missed - fantastic meats and fish. All of the staff at the hotel were amazingly friendly and helpful. It was great to meet guest experience manager Beatriz who was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Also, Carlos in the Red Level Lounge was so welcoming and always smiling and supportive. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the sun, beach, and fantastic atmosphere of GM Sancti Petri.

Second time spending time off here. This hotel's team goes the extra mile to make you enjoy a memorable holiday. Outstanding location at the gorgeous La Barrosa beach with a beautiful, short path access to the sea. Welcoming, professional and competent team at the reception, the restaurant, room cleaning and maintenance. We asked for the beds to be changed from king size into singles for the boys and that happened within 30's. Delicious and varied food served inside the dining room but also in the lovely patio taking advantage of the lovely evening temperatures. Great swimming pools. We also tried the indoors pool and its multiple water jet features and throughly enjoyed them. Charming staff: No matter how many times the children left the keys in the room, they were given spares with a smile once identity checked. We loved to be welcomed at the restaurant in the evenings with a glass of sherry and a warm smile. The service at meals time was flawless. Sunsets here are so beautiful! The hotel is well located to go for long beach walks towards nearby Sancti - Petri, or Roche in the other direction. Several chiringuitos around still open at this time of the year in case you wish to lunch or have a drink on the beach. Also a convenient base to explore Cadiz, El Puerto, Chipiona, Rota or other superbe beach areas such as Bolonia, Conil, Valdevaqueros or Zahara. Easy parking nearby. Very nice place. Good apartments. For family time it is perfect. Breakfast and dinner restaurant is good and the employees working there are impressive. They are super dedicated.. working hard. What I liked the worse was the outside cleaning. The balcony of lower apartments get too dirty with flying trash and no one cleanes it. A bit of trash here and there is left for long time. The pool bottom was very dirty and the filtering covers filled with massive quantity of hair. It was not cleaned for long time. As an overall evaluation, I liked it, but with small adjustments, it could be perfect instead of good.

I brought 4 groups here in 2023 for golf from Ireland, 2 in April and 2 groups in October. I have brought groups here for years, occasionally I bring them to another part of Spain or Portugal, Cypress etc but only if the group want a change in scenery. The only problem with going here is trying to find somewhere to match the experience you recieve here! From the second you walk in and are greeted by jesica and the best, most helpful front desk staff in the world, check in at lightning speed and efficiency, luggage area right beside the bus drop off and reception, cross the floor to now meet the best most friendly bar staff you will ever meet but it doesnt end there! We have bracelets that you can use as your all inclussive, pop into the dining area for breakfast lunch and dinner, with again the best staff you could ever hope to meet, all are exceptional human beings! Each as friendly as the next, as a group we always do a collection to show our appreciation for both the dining staff and the bar staff to show our appreciation. The food is excellent with a great variety and standard. To sell my trip I only have to send on a video of the many chef stations and variety of food. I've been here more than 10 times with groups of up to 40 people and have never had a complaint about staff, food or variety of food if that tells you something! The table wine is good and for a little extra you can buy a very nice bottle of red or white off the menu. After dinner there is entertainment, depending upon the time of year and weather it is out door or indoor. The indoor is fun, plenty of dancing. The outdoor team have a stage and produce fantastic dance and singing programmes among other things! I wont spoil the surprise. Fantastasic variety and omens effort and talented individuals provide the entertainment. The hotel has 3 pools and an indoor pool, I didnt get to the spa but it lines up nicely from what my group said with the rest of the hotel as being excellent. The beach is only a couple of minutes walk away. Long soft sandy beach greets you! Can it get any better? It does believe it or not, a short lovely little walk through woods or a shuttle bus over to the golf courses of nova sancti petri 36 hole complex, seve designed courses which held the challenge tour events so a good standard and depending upon which tees you use, every golfer is catered for. Its sets up well for ladies and higher handicappers and the lower handicap golfers can play further back if they wish. The driving range is excellent with chipping and bunker greens all over the place. It even has a thatched roof cottage with a quaint spanish style restaurant. Angela was there to serve us as we had a guitarist play late after the golf, she kept the bar open for us! Amazing staff again. The Hipotels are an excellently-run organisation and the hotels are in a wonderful state of repair and kept in this way by committed, efficient and friendly staff. Front of house staff and domestic staff are all a credit to the hotel. A very wide range of food is available at the buffet restaurant and there should be things for all clients to enjoy. The pools are away from each other so that adults can enjoy the relaxing ambience of one pool whilst families can use the facilities at the busier main pool with an adjoining play pool for the kids. Bedrooms are of a decent size with plenty of storage and hanging space and the daily cleaning is excellent. An excellent stay
