We have stayed here twice since our daughter started MSU graduate studies in the fall of '22. The hotel has been very pleasant; both stays with clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. This time we were meeting our daughter to celebrate a late Christmas. The room accommodated us to make snacks and sit comfortable and have her open her presents in the couch area! I was a fun way to celebrate without taking over her shared living space or worrying about exciting her lovely furry canine roommate. We rested well in the comfortable beds, the bathroom was clean and spacious and breakfast was delicious, hot and full. And the part that made the stay so special was the birthday wishes and cannoli treat I enjoyed for my birthday from the hotel! It was above and beyond extra for them to play along with our celebration weekend!

This is the best place to stay while in East Lansing. My studio was spacious - 457 sq feet, with a large TV, full refrigerator, microwave, comfortable bed and sofa, nice bathroom/shower, coffee maker and my room was quiet. This place is about 2 miles from Michigan State which is probably why it is quiet. A few critiques: breakfast buffet was really sp****. Not much of a selection. I did appreciate that they offered hazelnut and French vanilla creamers. The workout room as adequate but one of the elliptical machines was not working. I had to tell them that their water cooler was empty. The cabinet door to the area under the sink had a busted door that needed fixing. The pool was not open. Overall, a very good experience. I will definitely stay here again.

Located in a thriving part of the metro area, this hotel offers clean, quiet, well-appointed rooms, convenient parking and a front desk staffed with people who work with guests to make for a satisfactory stay. In our case, my wife attended a conference next door, which ended well past checkout time. Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal since the hotel is close to parks and other areas that are fine for reading a book, checking email, etc. But this was a typical hot, muggy Michigan summer day and thunderstorms threatened. Not conducive for spending hours in the car. We explained the situation and – problem solved – checkout was extended by three hours. That's customer service. That alone would be a reason to revisit if we were again in the area. I wish TripAdvisor would allow half-star increments to ratings. I gave the hotel four stars. That's a bit generous and 3 1/2 is more realistic.
