"was a little dubious about the hotel when I walked in as the lobby area looked very "unfinished" However I needn't have worried, it was part of the "look". The bedroom was excellent and the shared facilities top class.  As it's above the bar don't be surprised if there is some noise from downstairs and if you look out over the veranda expect to hear noise from the kitchen which is on the veranda! Having tried the bar food and range of beers I can thoughrly recommend both. Pity they don't do breakfast but there are a couple of excellent coffee shops in walking distance.  "

"The hotel is about 3.8 kilometers away from the town, opposite a hospital, but the nearby environment is quite quiet. The hotel does not have any green facilities and it feels unsuitable for a vacation. The hotel's restaurant serves pretty good food, but it's a pity that it's only open on Sundays. What is worthy of praise is the service attitude of the hotel front desk, which is great!"

"The room felt luxurious and was very clean. The tiles in the bathroom were heated and the towels were extra big. The room itself was very spacious, with a comfortable lounge for reading, a comfortable bed, kitchenette (with great free and add ons available) and robe/slippers. Next to no noise in my room. The CBD is only an easy 1km walk away from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating of an early check in. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to anyone passing through Orange. Fantastic value for money."

"This Mercure hotel lives up to its 4-star standard; the room wasn't huge but it was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, within walking distance of the shopping street and plenty of restaurant options. Breakfast was good, with dishes made to order, which was a nice touch! The only thing that needs improvement is the dust and cobwebs on the windowsill in the room, it definitely needs a good cleaning."
