"We were forced to book this hotel during hockey world championships. First rip off: the prices have been increased more than 3 times to more than 400€!!!!! But that’s not all: upon arrival we were told that all wellness facilities are shut down: no whirlpool, no gym, no sauna. The advertising pictures for this facilities were still online on the hotel website. The hotel reception was more than unfriendly after complaints, the hotel manager was not available. Customer service in this hotel is more than poor!"

"1 night stay in October 2024. Would expect far more in a hotel which claims to be a 4 star. Wellness centre accessible by stairs only, there is quite a hard access to an elevator, due to current works around the hotel probably. Receptionists could smile once a day at least, and should pay more attention to actual reservations - we have been charged for 1 dbl and 1 triple room, even if the change for 2 standard doubles has been confirmed; they did reimbourse the difference immediately, but they could spare an extra work. Minibars missing (room 641 does not have even the fridge). Toilet paper - single layer.... Hotel cosmetics and buffet breakfast - excellent."

":) - very quiet location near a large park, maintained facilities which, although light defects but not serious, interior facilities very maintained and clean, beautiful lounge with bar operation during the reception periods, Bright breakfast room with connected terrace on which breakfast can also be taken, rooms (apartment) 204: very pleasant size, cared with light defects (see "What did they not like"), large boxes, comfortable mattresses, Doors between living and bedroom, WC separated from the bathroom, well-functioning air conditioning in the room, parking in the immediate surroundings are dz. free of charge, Hotel offers also own parking - book ! Since only 5 places are available, about 5 min. to the outfit, several recommended locals in the medium environment :( - not good safe without function - could not be fixed by reception, Good and quite fast WiFi connection, however, unstable. breaks every 5 - 25 min. for about 30 - 90 sec., shower: small handbrace not activable, shower freezer, light, armory in the handwash basin slightly distant, living area: TV - not international (D, F, GB) broadcast TV device but multi-functional device with HDMI port therefore the laptop for foreign TV broadcasters could be connected,"

"The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the city of Ostrava but it is well connected to the center via trams or an hour long walk. The rooms are clean and tidy but definitely on the small side, not ideal if people arrive for a long time or with a lot of luggage. The breakfast has all the international staples but also local favorites and the room is tended by some lovely waitresses. The real downside is the gym which is located in a hidden part of the huge wellness area and it is also rather poorly equipped. If a gym fanatic, probably better to consider one of the local gyms for the daily workouts."
