"Just perfect! Stunning rooms, gardens and pool with the most friendly hard working team. Alessandra, Marta, Kara and Anko were so helpful and friendly, The rooms and grounds are immaculate, we had the most perfect few days to end our holidays. The breakfasts have everything you would want, fruit, cereals, nuts, daily changing selection of cakes and pastries. Amazing cheeses and meats, a feast. They’re restaurant is just fabulous, I would highly recommend a visit"

"WARNING: Avoid this hotel they are extremely unprofessional and disorganised. We had a booking with the hotel in July 2026 which we had fully prepaid in November 2025 . They recently canceled our booking which is in 4 weeks with no explanation or warning. They have tried to tell us we cancelled, which we 100% did not , we have asked for them to show us the cancellation request and of course they cannot. We reached out to them immediately as soon as we received the cxl email and over the last 5 days to try to find out what was going on but the hotel refused to speak to us about the situation and referred us to their private reservations company that does their reservations . They seem totally uncaring, disorganised and seems in complete chaos, they kept telling us just wait 24 hours for 5 days now. They promised to book us into a like accommodation in same area but have not done this and now not responding to our calls / messages. Obviously most accommodation is completely booked out in the middle of July . It has been extremely stressful situation as happed the day before we flew out, we are very disappointed with both the hotel and their out sourced reservation team , They held our funds for 7 months in their own bank account prior to the cancellation and yet still did not help or assist or take responsibility . We travel often and have never had such a bad experience with a hotel . We would not want this to happen to others so felt we had to share our awful experience and suggest you definitely avoid this Masseria and look elsewhere and book other accommodation in the area ."

"Not having visited Otranto previously, we chose this hotel as our initial base for three to four days. Thankfully we only booked the first night here. We arrived about 12:30 and while we didn’t expect our room to be ready, we didn’t expect to be told check in was 17:00. As it’s heading into off-season on 25th September, we thought that they possibly would be able to prioritise getting a room ready for us. So we went for lunch arriving back about 3pm and still had to wait for our room. Our room was ready for us about 3:30pm. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and I asked for it to be set low at 18 or 19 degrees but that was not done. Additionally the air con rattled all night. Due to engineering work outside, there was no Wi-Fi at all. In this day and age, Wi-Fi is a basic need. This is probably the main reason we decided on the day we arrived to find somewhere else for the rest of our stay. The hotel is also quite a trek from the centre of town - we knew that booking it - and we possibly would have stayed had everything else been good. To cap things off, breakfast was dreadful! I appreciate that breakfast in Italy is different to what we are used to. If you like cake for breakfast then this is a winner - about 8 types to choose from! But if you like croissants, they were dreadful. Either over baked or left over from the previous day. They didn’t have butter or ketchup (if you fly a British flag outside the establishment, these two are a staple!!). Fruit salad came from a tin. The icing on the cake then was the €2 person city tax. We have paid only €1 each in other B&Bs."

"We ate at this uninspiring masseria on August 15th. We were there with a group, and I don't want to completely blame the masseria. They didn't come back to our table with anything, made a fuss about water, and charged us for a liter of wine in a carafe, which we asked for extra. In my opinion, it would be better if they didn't accept groups unless they could provide decent food—and I repeat, decent, no, not much else. Furthermore, eating under one of the pergolas in the heat it was, didn't seem like the right thing to do. As for the rest, I don't know, but I can say that the atmosphere seemed well-kept in every way."
