"Stayed 1N and experienced bed bugs. Both my daughter and I suffered bites all over. Photo below shows only part of it. Caught the bug and handed it over to hotel front desk, first thing they say is can't be from them, I must have brought it in from outside. My son didn't get it because he was sleeping on another bed. They did offer breakfast as apology but more importantly, improve on your cleanliness."

The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to offer useful information and suggestions for our city tour. This hostel manages to combine simplicity, comfort, and excellent value, making it suitable not only for young people but also for couples looking to explore Parma at their leisure. Highly recommended, we would gladly return!"

The location is fantastic, a 5-minute walk from the Duomo, but out of three beds, two were a camp bed and a sofa with makeshift, uncomfortable bases. It's not worth the price if you risk waking up with a sore back."

"The Verdi Hotel is charming and very climate-friendly. The hotel is dedicated to Giuseppe Verdi, which has been connected to Parma for many years. The rooms are cozy, rather small but for a few days stay. The bathroom is large with very large amounts of towels. It is bidet. In the hotel we only ate breakfasts which are typical Italian breakfasts. There are plenty of sweetness, pie and cakes. There is also of course parmenian ham and parmeggiano cheese. The hotel is located approx. A 15-minute walk from the Old Town and Centre. The hotel is separated from the center of a huge, beautiful park where many people are jogging."

"Great hotel to stay while traveling through Italy. It was cheap , but the room and bathroom were spacious enough. Dogs are welcome, and parking is for free just in front of the hotel. There was even a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast is included and good enough. The negative aspects is that the hotel feels a bit run down. And when having a shower, the water leaked out on the floor. The tiled floor was cold, and it would have been nice to have a pair of slippers. That being said, I'd go back again, as it was worth it, price and service wise."

"As a smoker, I can't imagine smoking in a room if it's forbidden and there's no proper ventilation. The cleaners tried to "cover" the smell of stale smoke by deodorizing the room generously, but this only made things worse. Ventilation is provided by two small, tilt-and-turn windows. The location is beautiful and central, but in addition to the smell of smoke, there were other issues: the toilet seat is broken; why not fix it? The shower stall is in disrepair, and the TV screen is split in half by a black line. The price of the room, however, is for a clean room, with a tidy bathroom and a well-functioning TV... Why not make the necessary arrangements and present a room like this to the people who come and pay? I hope this review will inspire reflection: is it really worth booking this location?"

Our suite is spacious with a small kitchen and a living area. Books and pictures inside the room add homely feel!! The front desk staff are very very helpful.
