"This is our second stay at this small hotel. Some things have changed since 2018. They have grown from three rooms to six, and the staffing level also seems to have grown. Staff were still efficient and helpful. Breakfast is still served in the beautiful salon with the antique furniture and paintings, beautiful chandeliers, and other interesting decorative items. Breakfast still consists of breads and pastries, and a selection of meats and cheese. They serve great coffee and accommodate American taste by bringing refills. The hotel occupies most of one floor of an architecturally important building, a restored late 19th century Pallazzo. The octagonal center space is bright and airy thanks to the iron and glass dome. The property is on the main pedestrian street in Pavia. Access is from a side street, and with the keys provided, you have twenty-four hour admission. The elevator is small, especially if you have a lot of luggage. Fortunately, we did not. The room was quiet, and comfortable with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture and art. The Wi-Fi was strong. The bath was spacious, with large towels. The property is in a limited access zone, so you need to follow a map to arrive at the rear. We chose to let them valet park our car, but public parking is available in the area."

"The building is dilapidated, the furnishings, the room, and its layout are embarrassing. Camping beds and mattresses, and the bathroom and shower are to be avoided. I preferred not to wash myself rather than get a fungus. The cost is excessive and it's unacceptable that in 2025, these kinds of accommodation facilities still exist in northern Italy, scamming tourists... an experience to forget!"

"Accommodation in pavia is not in abundance and we were glad to book this centrally located B&B. It was clean and in an historic building in a lovely central square. Breakfast was pastry and coffee in the nice cafe across the square. The bed was comfortable, sheets of hood quality and the room well appointed with hairdryer, fridge, kettle etc. the view was superb and despite the central location was remarkably quiet. There were some negatives not least the many flights of narrow stairs to reach the room, the convoluted exit requirements. Why not use the main door? The bathroom was poor and in need of maintenance. I noted particularly the cracked shower door. I’m not sure the complexity of the bed adornment adds anything to the room. The rooms are as per the pictures and won’t suit everybody."

"After arriving at the address, I called the hotel and easily found my room following their directions. My first impression was great: modern, clean, and tidy – nothing to complain about. However, something happened that night that I found very difficult to accept. I was staying in a room with a balcony. I turned off the lights to go to sleep, but there was constant noise. I searched the bathroom and anywhere else that might be making the noise, but found nothing. Finally, I opened the balcony door and found the air conditioner's outdoor unit on the balcony, constantly making a buzzing sound. It was too late, and I didn't contact the hotel, so I just made do and slept for the night. I barely slept at all. I suggest that guests, if possible, request that they prefer a room without a balcony."

"Hotel located in the square in front of the train station, with some reserved car parks in front of the structure; structure easily accessible by public transport, a stone's throw from the centre. Welcoming and very kind and professional staff, very helpful. Bright room, very quiet; with large bed, suitcase rack, flat TV, chair and armchair, wardrobe, mini bar, coffee machine, USB plugs for charging. Bathroom not large but with large shower, toilet, bidet, large sink; very welcoming and warm. Breakfast with large sweet / savory buffet, fruit / vegetables, juice dispenser, staff available for hot drinks (coffee, tea, barley, capuccino, etc...). Overall it could use a refresh in some details. . . such as external fixtures. . ."

"Hotel rooms are small with no sound proof walls or sealing. Hotel is ok if you want stay for few nights, on side is free parking. If you in Pavia compare to other hotels is ok but is in remote location so you need to have a transportation, if not find hotel in central part of Pavia"

"I don't recommend it for non-smokers. The rooms smell strongly of cigarettes, the bathroom and facilities don't work properly, and you have to pay extra for air conditioning, which is very far away and quite expensive. The only good thing is the staff's attention; they were very friendly, even though the address on the reservation wasn't the correct one, and I waited 40 minutes for them to open the door."
