One of the most incredible hotel we have stayed in! Breathtaking and excellent views of Siguniang mountains and a stream from the moment you stepped into the lobby. The rooms are exactly as advertised, with zero obstruction of the snowcapped mountains - spectacular views from the room windows! We were worried that the pictures from the booking page would differ but it was exactly the same. The hospitality at the hotel was top notch, extremely bespoke to one's comfort and at the same time very homely and warm. We even got a free upgrade to the best rooms in the property and they even took the effort to celebrate one of our birthday which happened to coincide with our stay. The two hotel owners (张哥和冷哥), as well as the staff treated us like family, with lovely meals at the hotel (their breakfast noodles were yummy!), recommendations on how best to tour Siguniang mountain valleys and even bringing us to the local convenience stores in the nearby town. Do not hesitate to reach out to the owners to arrange for a horse to be brought to the property for a photoshoot - the pictures on a horse with the mountains in the backdrop are stunning! All in all, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who wants a relaxing get away with jaw dropping views of Siguniang mountains and the best hospitality that Sichuan can offer!

From the moment we arrived, we were already impressed with this hotel. There were two staff members waiting to welcome us at the entrance, helping with our luggage and explaining everything clearly. Their English was excellent, and the service was honestly one of the best parts of our stay. The hotel itself is incredibly charming and cozy. The decoration feels warm and friendly, with a lovely balcony area in front filled with beautiful flowers and plants. Our room was very clean, the bed was super soft and comfortable, and we could see the mountains right from the window. The floor heating was also a big plus and made the room extra cozy at night. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. The yak hotpot was AMAZING. The clear soup was filled with wild mushrooms, Chinese red dates, goji berries, and spices that blended together perfectly. The dipping sauce was the real star — we asked for refills so many times because it was just that good! The matsutake mushroom fried rice was also super fragrant and generously portioned. Please don’t miss the hotel’s homemade yak milk barley yogurt. It was seriously delicious — sweet and slightly sour, topped with popping barley grains that gave such a fun texture. Their milk teas were also fantastic, especially the rose milk tea which smelled like a whole bouquet of roses, and the barley milk tea was equally good. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. They helped arrange local taxis for us to Suangqiaogou entrance and the bus station, and they always tried their best to help with everything we asked for. Everyone was so warm and caring. Overall, if I ever come back to Siguniangshan, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend everyone to spend at least one night here — this place made our trip even more special.

What a pleasant surprise! Nestled quietly in the mountains, this place offers views that are simply breathtaking. If you're looking for peace, fresh air, and stunning scenery, this is it. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. It comes equipped with heating and hot water, which is all you need in this cool mountain climate. There's no air-conditioning, but honestly, it isn't necessary as temperatures remain comfortable throughout the year. Since the property is located away from town, there's an in-house chef (20yrs of experience under his belt) who prepares meals from a menu with a good selection of dishes. Prices are very reasonable, and the food was absolutely delicious. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. This is an excellent base for anyone planning to hike or explore the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The location is peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. One unexpected bonus was the excellent projector setup with a surprisingly good sound system and access to the latest movies. After a long day of hiking, there's nothing better than returning to a warm room, enjoying a freshly cooked meal, and ending the evening with a movie. The property also offers private parking, which is very convenient. Overall, an amazing stay. One of those places that makes you want to extend your trip and stay a little longer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cozy mountain homestay with amazing hospitality and service from its staff 😍 the location is unbeatable with its mountain views and the room itself is well-designed and comfortable. We really appreciated how kind and helpful the staff were during our stay, really taking care of us and treating us so well (especially when getting used to the altitude). We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance to visit Siguniang area once more! 🏔️

This hotel is excellent! The owner is extremely kind and friendly. The service is outstanding, and the rooms are very clean. It’s close to the park—you can even walk there. There are plenty of food options around the hotel. We stayed at this hotel for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Shangqouai Valley, Siguniang, making it easy to get around. The room was clean and comfortable, which is very important, especially when traveling with a baby. The staff were extremely kind and attentive. They reminded us not to wet our hair while showering to reduce the risk of AMS. When our baby cried nonstop at night, the staff showed great concern — they offered to take our baby to the hospital and provided oxygen as they were worried about AMS. We truly felt well taken care of. Highly recommended, especially for families traveling with young children.
