"Welcoming staff here who were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Food was a mixed experience with some enjoying their meal whilst other choices were rated as poor. The restaurant staff gave good service but breakfast was very overcooked. Beds here were ultra hard and the pillows were poor quality, flat and lumpy. We also had to cope with a route to the rooms where half the floor width was covered in plastic and pots catching drips from a leaky ceiling. Probably would not stay here again."

"We had two outstanding meals at this lovely hotel while on holiday in Cruden Bay, the first was on a Monday evening when it’s a Pizza night, the quality of the food could not be faulted in any way whatsoever. Our second visit was on a Wednesday evening when it’s a curry evening, I personally had the chicken jalfrezi which was perfect with the Nan bread accompanying the curry, other family members had the Thai chicken curry which was beautifully cooked and served. With grateful thank to the mine host and his very attentive staff."
