"Shady place to stay The owner came to take care of himself and was very cute. The employees are also nice and attentive to customer service. It's like coming home to rest after working hard all month. I recommend everyone to try staying here. The rooms are clean, designed and decorated by the owner himself, in a warm, very natural style. Importantly, there were no mosquitoes at all. But you should enter the accommodation no later than 8 p.m. because the staff leave work at 8 p.m."

"The Maeyom Palace hotel is an older hotel with a nice large parking lot and a beautiful pool! But wait, there is a reason it is called a palace. This is not any normal hotel. It has a palatial entrance and lobby full of beautiful teak furniture and ceramics. The floors are solid granite, and everything else is teak. Although the building is a little dated you feel like you are entering a castle! It’s very grand, and the price is very reasonable! The view of the surrounding mountains is very good and there are a few restaurants and cafes nearby. Although it is not in the center of town, it is a few blocks from the Green Bus Station. If you plan on onward travel to Chiang Rai on Green Bus this is an ideal location. We recommend having a car to see Wat Na Khu Ha, other major temples, and coffee shops and markets. Things are a bit spread out and GRAB is hard to find. If you are planning a stay in Phrae we recommend the Maeyom Palace, and their friendly helpful staff."

"We discovered the homestay in 2023 and returned this year for a seven night stay. The setting is delightful, a smart architect-designed complex set among rice paddies with a mountain range as the backdrop. Rural bliss. The owners do a great job in looking after their guests, with well-trained staff in support. The bedrooms are simple but stylish, with views over the gardens or to the mountains, and are spotlessly clean. The dinner menu offers a good range of well-prepared thai and western dishes served in a stunning roof-top setting. For us, our week was wonderful, and excellent value for money."
