Hotel berhampiran Prašný most, Prague

We spent ten days in Prague in May, 2023, staying at the Dancing House, and we couldn't have been happier. The conventional wisdom for a hotel in Prague is to find one on Old Town to be close to the many tourist sites, but the location of the Dancing House offered several benefits: there is a tram stop just outside of the hotel, and around both corners to the left and the right about six blocks away is a Metro station. We never once felt ”away from the action” during our stay in the city. We had a beautiful room, 402, which was spacious and comfortable with three large windows. Every morning we would get up and pull back the curtains to a view of the river and the Jirásek Bridge. Then we took the elevator up three flights to the breakfast room on the seventh floor, being sure to take one of the tables by a window. There was nothing more that we could have wanted as the selection of items was comprehensive, but I especially like the machine which dispensed cups of black coffee, café au lait, cappuccino, and espresso. And the bottles of Prosecco! There is also a nice coffee/gift shop on the ground floor where we stopped two afternoons for ice cream. The only feature of the hotel we didn’t especially like was the rooftop bar. We were given two passes to enter the bar but we didn’t buy a drink. The views are wonderful, but it was crowded with nowhere to sit, so we just walked around once and left. We found two bonuses staying at the Dancing House hotel: one was a nice wine bar, Wine Not, one hundred meters away at Masarykovo nábřeží 8- We stopped here several afternoons after sight-seeing to sample a glass (or two) of wine and to chat with the servers. And the second was a floating restaurant just across the street from the hotel – Restaurant Matylda. Luckily, we had dinner here on our second night and enjoyed it so much that we returned for one more dinner before leaving for home. A tip – the octopus carpaccio is great. And there are two open areas on the boat. On two afternoons we sat at a table on the bow in the sunshine and sipped chilled Czech Rose. If we ever return to Prague we will not hesitate to stay once again at the Dancing House.

My spouse, my friends, and I stayed 2 nights for Canada Day weekend at Mama Shelter prague. It's in a great location, short transit to old Town Prague with multiple ways of getting there. Bolt, scooters, tram, or even walking works as well. Staff was friendly, except for when we got back to our hotel room on Saturday night. The door was left open by house keeping and luckily nothing was stolen. A woman staff member at the front didn't believe what I told her, so we showed her and said something would be done about it. Upon checking out, there were no notes, and nothing was done. So definitely a lack of professionalism by the night staff. Breakfast was excellent with alot of choices. It's a buffet and is open from 7am to 1030am most days. Food was fresh and 0 issues. The room was clean and spacious. King size bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was okay, but could've been better. 2 TVs and 2 bathrooms. So it was a comfortable stay for us. Overall, definitely worth the money you pay to have everything included. I still believe the hotel parking should be included into the price like in North America.

The hotel is located quite far from the center, about 20 minutes by tram, but the tram stop is nearby, so getting to the center is not a problem. The hotel has a parking lot where you can leave your car for 15 euros (currently free). The rooms are new, spacious and quite clean. It's a pity that there are no disposable slippers. There are sets for making tea and coffee, a kitchenette with an oven and stove.

Aku terkejut apabila masuk ke dalam bilik hotel Ia mungkin belum diubah suai sejak hotel pertama dibina. Tiada peti sejuk dan tiada air minuman asas. Hanya tuala asas, kertas tandas (berminyak), syampu dan pencuci badan disediakan. Saya tertanya-tanya sama ada orang Prague menyukai kertas tandas yang kasar kerana kertas tandas di tempat lain tidak begitu berkualiti. Tetapi keesokan harinya saya pergi makan sarapan dan terkejut lagi@-@ Restoran hotel nampaknya telah diubah suai. moden sepenuhnya. Dan sarapan paginya juga memuaskan. Kopi, Teh, Jus, Roti, Yogurt, Sosej, dll. Saya tidak makan semuanya, tetapi saya tetap berpuas hati. Jika anda lebih mengutamakan sarapan daripada bilik hotel, anda mungkin mahu datang. Saya datang untuk melihat bandar pula, melainkan saya datang hanya untuk berehat di bilik hotel. Lokasinya memuaskan. Ia juga berhampiran dengan kereta bawah tanah Terdapat salun kuku berhampiran hotel. Pedikur dan rias kuku adalah kira-kira 50,000 won untuk kedua-dua tangan dan kaki.

A friend I spent 4 nights at this hotel whilst visiting another friend and seeing the sights in Prague. In terms of location, the hotel is a little out of the main centre (15 min walk approx). However it still feels very central due to how large Prague is and sprawls out. The hotel is not dated but doesn’t seem particularly modern either. It has a very simplistic feel. Staff are polite in the reception upon arrival. It has a very small lobby area with seating, vending machines and toilets hidden away. This area could get crowded easily. The rooms themselves are basic. They are clean and tidy, have decent beds, a small desk and a wardrobe. Numerous charging sockets are available which is nice and there is a TV. Unfortunately, there is no safe or mini fridge which did feel like a small hindrance. The bathroom is not spacious but is once again clean and tidy. Towels are replenished daily and small toiletries are provided. The hotel offers breakfast which was included within our booking. The breakfast is very basic. Cereals, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese and some boiled eggs is all it has to offer. However, the coffee and drinks machines were in good working order and the staff worked hard. Overall, this hotel offers a simple, easy and affordable stay in Prague. You get what you pay for but I was satisfied with the overall value. The additions of a safe, mini fridge and a more comprehensive breakfast would pay dividends though.

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Die Zimmer sind etwas kleiner, aber es gibt ein Fenster zum Innenhof. Leider quietschen die Türen aller Apartments, sehr unangenehm/laut. Warum dieses Problem nicht behoben (einfach mit Öl die Mechanik einschmieren) wird ist mir ein Rätsel.

Soggiornato il 03 e 04/08 Hotel essenziale, senza pretese, colazione inclusa oggi è difficile trovarla negli altri alberghi perché si paga a parte, è perfetto per appoggiarsi e poi visitare la citta di Praga che è bellissima. Alla reception Vi daranno tutte le informazioni utili per gli spostamenti e le indicazioni per la pulizia della stanza. Davanti l'hotel c'è la fermata del tram n°6 e n° 11 e poi un pò più avanti il n° 18 che vi porta alle pendici del Castello e da li potete visitare tutto. Hotel un pò datato, moquettes sul pavimento.... in bagno un leggero odore di muffa ma può andare, come detto prima davanti passa il tram quindi già alle 4.30 del mattino sentirete un pò di trambusto nonostante i doppi vetri giustamente utilizzati dall'albergo. Vicino all'hotel diversi locali dove mangiare, Vi consiglio U' KASPARA a 7 minuti a piedi oppure tram n°6, veramente eccezionale! sotto l'hotel c'è anche una pizzeria

They did it again! Top organization of my event. Event manager Dagmar Vlkova is real professional. Apart of fantastic organization of the event, hotel itself is really very good in all - nice clean rooms, delicious fresh breakfast and perfect helpful service.

Hotel is very nice, however there are a few points worth to mention: * Concierge. Overall great experience, however one of the concierge team members (lady) had a Ukrainian flag on her name tag, which supposedly should mean that she should speak Ukrainian, when we started to speak Ukrainian, she was replying in russian! We do not want to be communicated in russian language, we did not pay to stay at the hotel to hear Russian when we did not ask for it! Very upsetting that you hire people without a knowledge and just put random flags instead of them speaking the language. *** Please explain to the staff that it is important to reply in the language in which customer is communicating or at least in English. Thank you 🙏🏻 * Service during the breakfast and housekeeping. All the kitchen, service and housekeeping teams were super friendly, very nice 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Special thanks to Roxolana & Halyna Pashinska for their incredible personal touch. * Hotel Room The room was clean, however had this horrible smell from the bathroom canalization. Each time we had to open the windows to be able to stay in the room. We were a bit busy and didn’t have time to deal with the room changes, however please do something about it. It is very very bad. * Food. Food is great, however we stayed since July 23d until August 6th and we could not eat the breakfast anymore, it is not changing at all 😅. If we knew we would book the rooms without breakfast and eat elsewhere. Water. There was no water in the room, which is a bit different from other hotels we stayed at. I hope this comments will help you to improve the experience of your guests.

It is a modern building, we had a family room which was spacious and the beds were comfortable, and we had stunning view from the 19th floor. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was simple but delicious, they filled up the buffet quickly, there was never a shortage of anything, and there was even oat milk.Good transport to the city center, the tram stop is a 3-minute walk away. Excellent value for money, hotel quality at a hostel price.
