"Wonderful modern room s Excellent service"

"We recently stayed at the Maris Grand Hotel in Protaras as a family of three and had a truly wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how exceptionally clean and well-maintained the hotel was. Every area, from the rooms to the communal spaces, was spotless throughout our stay. The staff were one of the standout highlights. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure guests were looked after. Their genuine warmth made a real difference to our experience. In particular, Georgia, the Front Office Manageress who is so kind, helpful & always smiling and Ebru who worked at the splash park poolside bar – Must try her iced coffee…amazing!! Maria, Bill and their team were exceptional in the restaurant, always friendly, and polite whilst providing full professionalism at all times. The cleaning staff are simply amazing too! The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality throughout our stay. The Italian restaurant was a particularly lovely bonus and provided a fantastic alternative for a special evening meal. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool area and water slides, which provided hours of fun and entertainment. The facilities were great for families and helped make the holiday memorable for all of us. We visited during peak season in August, so naturally the hotel was very busy, particularly around the pool and main bar areas. Despite this, the atmosphere remained friendly and enjoyable. The only small suggestion we would make is that some background music in the evening bar area would help create a little more ambience after dinner. It was considerably cheaper than many hotels of a similar rating in the area, yet delivered far more than expected. Don't book expecting 5-star luxury, because that's not what it promises, but if you're looking for a great base, good facilities, and an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio, this hotel is absolutely brilliant. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend the Maris Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly holiday in Protaras. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we've already booked to return in October, which says everything about how highly we rate this hotel. "Me and my husband just returned from 11 nights at St Elias . What a wonderful place it is big shout out to Flouris the amazing Assistant Manager and his reception staff , porters who were always checking with guests that all was good . The food was the Best All Inclusive Food we have had every night a themed night . Staff tended to our every need especially Reda . We mainly stayed by the quiet pool ( no slides or activities) which was beautiful, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, no one saved a bed , again the first time we have experienced this and made for a relaxing experience. The pool bar staff ensured our drinks were topped up , in particular a tall gentleman with a moustache ( sorry can’t remember his name ) , Andrea and Manis . We did not spend much time in our room which was cleaned daily . We sat on our terrace every evening. There is evening entertainment but we preferred to sit outside by the quiet pool most nights enjoying other holiday makers company . The shuttle bus runs from hotel on the hour to Protaras and Fig Tree Bay , we caught it into the beach and walked back , when the bus had broken down one morning the reception ordered a taxi to takes us to the beach , amazing . We had a meal at the Meze restaurant which again is worth doing . We would definitely return ."

"It‘s a mass hotel located right next to vryssi beach, which can be crowded as well. Morning buffet is repetitive and in the evening it was more diverse. Basic and sparkling water is added to bill. workers were partially very friendly and supportive especially one named Lal from the cuisine. Sunbeds were unfortunately fixated for the whole duration, which means little chance for a favourable position. Bus stop is next to the hotel as well. Entertainment programs were included. The gym is sparse but maintained well generally."

"Somehow, I liked this hotel more than I should've. It has loads of issues, but the overall experience was not terrible. Definitely not good either. The Pros The staff are lovely and hard-working. Great location. Room air-con is good. There wasn't a hint of trouble here. We met some great people. Protaras is a really nice resort. Cons The hotel is incredibly dated, It needs to be renovated from top to bottom. It's dirty in places. One plug in the room is very awkward. Many of the guests treat the place like a dump which it does not deserve. Food wasn't for me but might be for you. One Iron and board to do the entire hotel. Incredibly busy in Aug. Towels are a free-for-all at the pool. Utter shambles. If you stay here expecting to be blown away, you will have a terrible time. Come here with low expectations, and you will find it pleasant enough. I won't be back myself, but don't hate the place. It met my expectations of a more budget hotel more or less. It's still lacking in a certain way. Protaras in Aug is also absolutely heaving with people."
