"Very nice location out of town and a short walk to a local beach. Supermarket and a range of restaurants nearby. Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, but facilities are quite basic with a very small pool, but then this is a base hotel for touring, not a resort. Comfortable room and mostly quiet, and you feel you are in the rainforest, although for our room there was human noise during the day from an adjacent property, which was a shame and I mark down from 4 to 3. When quiet, it was beautiful and relaxing to sit out and watch the wildlife on the property. We ate at the restaurant one evening and very good food. Breakfast is very basic and the restaurant is too small as when large groups are in, you have to wait. A nice, basic relaxed lodge, and we enjoyed our few days' stay before moving on."

"Enjoyed our 3 night stay in a separate bungalow - spacious & comfotable (but no aircon). It is set in forest with agoutis wandering around eating fallen fruits, & toucans flying overhead. The restaurant was fine, but easy to walk to others nearby too. Good parking & close to many good beaches & wildlife tours. The pool was pleasant on a hot day"
