"Location is very central in Rabat which means from the underground parking you'll walk a bit until you reach the hotel - with our Backpacks no issues, but if you're travelling with heavy luggage it might be worth checking for a porter. The Riad is phenomenally restored and beautifully decorated. Rooms are very nice but as in most riads - all facing the courtyard so very little (audio) privacy. Rooftop terrace is a plus, but with limited view. WOuld recommend it again."

The place itself was spotless, and every detail was taken care of with so much thought. But the real highlights? The hamam experience—absolutely unreal. It was beyond relaxing and left us feeling completely refreshed. And the food? Honestly, some of the best we’ve ever had! Freshly made, full of flavor, and served with love. Every bite was a treat. We loved every single minute of our stay, and if we could, we’d be back in a heartbeat. If you’re thinking of visiting Rabat, this riad is an absolute must!"

"Super clean hotel, well-decorated room, super friendly staff, but it's a shame this hotel gives the impression it's super big when the truth is it's too small, especially in the public areas and amenities. The pool is super narrow, the restaurant is limited and super overpriced. The minibar is also very expensive; a €14 chocolate bar ruins the whole stay. In conclusion, this hotel is good, but it's not worth the price of €350/night."

Water sits for hours after showering because it doesn't drain properly, and some of the tiles are dangerously slippery. The restaurants and room service are mediocre for a hotel of this caliber. Poor quality and limited options for room service."

"A very corporate hotel, probably excellent for business conventions, but we found it rather impersonal and definitely overpriced. We stayed at La Tour Hassan as part of a longer trip which also included the cities of Fes, Casablanca and Marrakech before travelling to the Ourika Valley. This hotel was, by far, the most disappointing and we were shocked that the additional for three days’ breakfasts plus a single half bottle of Moroccan wine, and a serving of mint tea, cost the same price as evening meals with drinks and cocktails at our superb and quite grand hotels in Fes, Casablanca and Marrakech. Our Superior Garden Room was surprisingly small and the shower was so badly designed that it flooded the bathroom. The room was furnished with only one pair of slippers and we were left with a single tiny tablet of chocolate when we returned to our room in the evening, despite it being a double room. Our overpriced and very disappointing breakfast did not even offer muesli or granola except on the first day of our three night stay. Staff were available but compared to our other hotel experiences, I can only assume that this is not a happy place to work as our interactions with staff were transactional rather than infused with the typical Moroccan hospitality we experienced elsewhere. Rabat itself is a great place to visit, especially for the art galleries but we would definitely avoid this hotel on our next visit. What a shame. "

"Riad Zyo is a beautiful gem tucked inside Rabat’s Medina. Recently renovated, it keeps its traditional charm while offering updated comforts. The three-story layout surrounds a peaceful central pool—perfect for cooling off on warm days. The rooftop is a lovely spot to relax with tea, read, or catch the sunset. Breakfast is classic Moroccan, fresh and nicely presented. The staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. For what it offers, I’d say the price is very fair. It’s a calm, stylish escape in the heart of the city. I’d absolutely stay here again!"
