"The hotel is right across the sea, just a few steps across the street. It has a restaurant, making dining convenient and the food is decent. However, the breakfast selection was too limited, completely overpriced. Service was lukewarm; check-in wasn't possible until 3 PM. Overall, the human element could be improved."

Travelodge Margate Westwood Hotel

"We had a 2 night stay . On entry the reception was lovely and cool , air conditioned . Staff helpful and kind . Room great size . Very HOT . Nair conditioning which was awful as it was a heatwave , a small fan was supplied with little impact . 2 cups , no fridge so couldn't keep fresh stuff cool which was needed as no cafe/restaurant on site . Breakfast is a box 📦 , contents not worth the .only they want so we went out for breakfast . Plenty of shops and food outlets around the hotel. Very basic and not our usual pick but it did the job for our weekend visit. Would think twice about using again as we do like a breakfast and air con."

Travelodge Hotel - Ramsgate Seafront

"Brilliant position overlooking the marina. Plenty of little bars and restaurants close by. With the best Weathspoon right on the beach. Buses to the other resorts to the side. Multi story car park right next door which cost us £9 for 24 hours. Best to download the app on the side of the machine which we found easy to work as I’m an OAP. and you can extend the duration from your phone without going to the car park. Upstairs is locked at night which suited us as we didn’t use the car for two days. Overall it’s a lovely little town with the high street just behind the hotel. Well worth a visit. "

The Falstaff Hotel & Cafe Ramsgate

"We were very pleased with our room ( number 7) on the top floor. It had a large very comfortable bed and the shower was powerful. We liked the view over the roof tops. The stairs are narrow though so not easily accessible to infirm guests. The continental breakfast was adequate and included in the price. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking behind the hotel was great when we eventually found it!!"
