"The Sheraton Rizhao was easily the best hotel we stayed at in Rizhao. It is a very luxurious hotel with excellent service, a beautiful swimming pool, several restaurants, and a great location—only about a 10-minute walk from Wanpingkou Beach. The housekeeping was especially impressive. Our room was thoroughly cleaned every day, and drinks, robes, and towels were always replenished. I was sick during our stay and used a lot of tissues, and the staff actually noticed and started leaving extra packs of tissues in our room every day without us even asking. That level of attention to detail was excellent. We were also very happy to have such a nice pool because there was a typhoon during our stay and we couldn’t swim in the sea. The room itself was luxurious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. My only real complaint was that we paid ¥1,050 per night because we booked in advance, but after we checked in, the exact same room dropped to ¥850 per night. It was disappointing to know we paid significantly more for the same room and same dates. One suggestion would be to have separate pool hours for adults and children. During our stay, children were jumping, splashing, and taking up a large portion of the pool, which made it difficult for adults to enjoy it. Overall, I would not stay anywhere else in Rizhao. This was by far the best hotel in the city, and I would definitely recommend it."

"I booked five rooms and stayed two nights! Every room was substandard in cleanliness, infested with bugs. The towels were also filthy, and I had to change them countless times. The housekeeping lady was alright. The front desk staff were very aggressive and seemed unsettled. The younger staff and the one who claimed to be a manager were both very domineering. There was no point in communicating further; they didn't seem interested in resolving the issues. At the very end, the older, short-haired staff member at the front desk at least offered a few extra words of greeting. I'll give her and the housekeeping lady half a star."

"An exceptionally pleasant stay!!! My friends and I booked this farmhouse in Rizhao Lanshan on a weekend getaway without much thought. We were surprised to find such a comfortable resort right in the heart of Lanshan, with convenient transportation – just a 20-minute drive from Lanshan West Station. The entire check-in process was smooth and attentive, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. No wonder Shandong is known for its hospitality, haha! Although it's newly opened, there was no smell of renovation. The private hot spring in the room was perfect for winter. I stayed in a room next to the karaoke room, and I couldn't hear my friends singing loudly at night – the soundproofing was truly excellent. Besides the karaoke room, there's a chess and card room, indoor golf, and an indoor children's play center. I heard there's also a kiln-baked bread oven and a petting zoo – it's incredibly well-equipped! I'll definitely bring my family here again!!!"

"I came to Rizhao with friends to relax and chose the Yanda Hot Spring Water Resort Hotel. The overall experience was fantastic. The hotel included free admission to the hot springs, which was a great deal. Many of the relaxation areas were free to use, including a sauna, a reading room, and a movie theater – we could easily spend a whole day there without getting bored. The hot spring pools were clean and hygienic, with a comfortable water temperature; soaking in them left us feeling much more relaxed. The rooms were simply yet elegantly decorated, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The service was also excellent – warm and attentive without being intrusive. The quiet and pleasant environment made it perfect for gatherings with friends and relaxing – definitely worth coming back to."
