The hotel was conveniently located 5-min from Termini train station and the FCO airport shuttle bus and hop on hop off bus stops just across. We stayed 2 times during our 2 week stay in Rome - over night stay before heading down to Civitavecchia Port for MSC cruise and 4 night stay upon return from the cruise ship. We used the hotel storage service for one of our luggage bags for a week during our 7-day cruise. The hotel staffs were friendly.

In questo hotel pulito, carino e molto comodo , vicino alla stazione di Roma Termini sono proprio le persone che fanno di un piccolo hotel, un punto di riferimento per i nostri viaggi a Roma. Paola della reception e' stata, ed è, la persona che ci ha seguito in fase di prenotazione e che si è fatta in quattro per aiutarci a proiettare le nostre fotografie su una parete, di una saletta allestita solamente per noi, un gruppetto di fotografi arrivati in città per un corso di fotografia di due giorni. Cosy room. Close to transport, amenities deceiving as linked with other hotels, spa area not in this hotel but another up the road. Upstairs balcony/ bar not in service anymore but ok for a quiet drink you can take up as self service. Coffee not great, suggest to go elsewhere. Amazing seafood restaurant nearby would highly recommended, SaTanca Crostaceri.

A cozy stay at this cute hotel in the heart of Rome was an addition to our already amazing trip to Italy.
Don’t expect it to be a shiny new hotel, be ready for old-school hardware and to communicate with the staff if something seems wrong. We got caught with having no hot water in the morning, thinking there was definitely something wrong. It turned out that it was just us being impatient, and the clerk staff were very friendly to point out that it takes time for hot water to reach upper floors. Very friendly reception on our late-night check-in as well.
Overall, I would definitely stay again and/or recommend to friends and family.

Very nice hotel for the price compared to most hotels in Venice the location is great if you’re taking the taxi or without crazy heavy luggages which I happen to have 2. If you’re taking the public boats there’s a distance to walk and have to cross 2 bridge which is fine if you’re travelling light. Stuff is very nice and helpful the room is fabulous other than 3 classic paintings hanging on the wall which is pretty scary at night. Other than that the room is big and nice with all the things needed

The hotel is located very near to the Termini Station with easy access to most locations in Rome. The rooms have a bit of old-style charm and are spacious and comfortable, especially when travelling with multiple family members. The buffet breakfast at the top floor offers a wide variety of good-quality items, and is truly a highlight at this hotel. The service staff is friendly and attentive, and will rush to your aid when experiencing any difficulties. The cleaning staff helped us when we were having issues with the key, and the desk staff helped us change to a different room without any questions asked. Truly very friendly.

This is the best option for hostel stay in Roma. I was in a 4-bed dorm room, and all beds had sliding doors for extra privacy. When not being used the beds could also be locked from outside. There was a storage drawer under the bed which was very spacious and could be locked using the same key as the bed. The ensuite bathroom was good, but the door didn't seem to close tightly enough, in my opinion, even though the lock worked fine. This was the only negative of my stay really, but the impact wasn't high as I had considerate room-mates. I used the kitchen quite a bit to heat food, and although I didn't participate in staff organised meals, these were a nice touch. The hostel had a secure entrance as well, which I appreciated. The location was really nice too - about a 15-minute walk away from the Roma Termini station. And in the walking distance there are several fantastic restaurants for every budget. I particularly enjoyed a nice Bangladeshi one that was only a 15 minute walk away from the hostel. There was also a huge supermarket about 5min away that I didn't need to use, but appreciated its proximity anyway. Had a great experience overall, and I would stay here again.

We didn't expect it to be that good! The place is great with all facilities you need. The staff is helpful, and the check in and check out was super easy. The room was good and clean. The only con is that the bus from the center of Rome back to hu is often packed with people and late, plus you have to wait for a while on the stop for the next ones to arrive.

Lots of on site parking. Laundry service recommended across the hotel were amazing and friendly. Room was very small though. Blow dryer didn’t work. Not enough bench space in the bathroom. Overall cleanliness was great. The fridge was nice and cold. Although they don’t have a stocked fridge and you would have to go down to get bottled water. Variety of breakfast choices. Drinks were okay and coffee was from an instant coffee machine which was okay. Staff weren’t around often to ask for fresh coffee. Front concierge were friendly though and very helpful.

PPengguna TetamuI cannot recommend this hotel enough! I visited with my 14-year old daughter last month, with 5 nights in Rome at the beginning and 2 nights at the end. Based on reviews, price, and location, I booked this hotel -- we could not have been happier. Our room was spotless during both of our stays, as were the common areas, restaurant, etc. The hotel is perfectly located -- right in the middle of the historic center and walkable to everything -- Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon all a 5-10 minute walk. Whenever we needed a taxi (e.g. early morning tours that were a 25 min walk away), the front desk staff (Lyuba, Davide, Iustin) were helpful and the taxi was never more than a 4 minute wait (more about staff below). The hotel is on a road with restaurants, a few small supermarkets, a wonderful local pasticceria, and a 4-5 minute walk from Piazza Navona -- a beautiful, huge piazza with stunning fountains, surrounded by endless restaurants and bars. There's a pharmacy right off the piazza if you need anything -- I used it to get COVID tested to be able to fly home. It was fast, easy, and reliable.
The hotel breakfasts were fantastic - typical European breakfast with meats + cheeses, yogurts / cereals / berries, all kinds of coffee drinks, breads / rolls / croissants, warm foods (e.g. quiche, sauteed spinach, eggs, etc.), and endless baked goods. The staff wore masks at all times, and most guests wore masks while up and about at the buffet, taking them off while seated. The tables were set beautifully and the entire area was spotless -- it was easy to see how hard the dining room staff worked.
The rooms were great -- extremely comfortable beds, terrific linens, wonderful shower, all modern and new. Be aware, even with the window closed and on a higher floor, on the front side of the hotel the street below is busy and there's a restaurant / bar with outdoor seating in front of the hotel -- if you're a light sleeper, you'll hear sounds (people + traffic) late into the night. My daughter didn't notice at all -- I heard it all night. Our room during the beginning of our stay was on the rear of the buidling, opening into a small courtyard -- it was lovely, quiet, airy, and had a wonderful balcony (4th Floor). If you can get one of those rooms, I highly recommend it.
The front desk staff: ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. As a mom traveling alone with a young teenage daughter during COVID and the instability in eastern Europe, I had concerns before traveling. Lyuba, Davide, and Iustin were attentive, helpful, accommodating, and informative. Whether it was checking us in early when we first arrived from the airport, arranging taxis, storing our luggage while we traveled to Florence, or helping figure out COVID testing to return home, they were on point, efficient, and kind. The afternoon before our flight home, I realized that the Rome Marathon was scheduled for the following day. They helped me trouble shoot while I was out with my daughter, trying to be present with her while simultaneously communicating with them via WhatsApp to figure out how to get to the airport the next morning. Requesting a taxi 1/2 hour before heading to the airport would have been disasterous, as they were closing all the roads, and no taxis would have been available. The staff arranged a private driver (worth the cost) and were in close contact with him and his dispatcher to make sure we were all apprised of which roads were closed. My daughter and I did have to walk 10 minutes to the river with our suitcases and cross to the other side, as all local roads had been closed, but it was actually a piece of cake. Our driver was waiting for us exactly where the hotel staff said he would be, and from there it was easy getting to the airport. If the staff hadn't been responsive and seriously on top of it, we would not have made it to the airport that day.

PPengguna Tetamu Where I stay when traveling is as important to me as where I am going. That is the difference between being a tourist and a traveler. When I travel, I search out family run bed & breakfasts and or small boutique hotels. Why? The people. People make the difference. On this trip to Rome, I was traveling with my father. I was looking for a small boutique hotel in a quiet location but a location from which all of Rome is easily accessible by walking. I couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect property than Hotel Monte Cenci. Located on the Via Beatrice Cenci, a quiet location just one block from the Tiber River, and surrounded by gorgeous buildings with window boxes spilling over with geraniums, the Hotel Monte Cenci is a livable work of art. Designed in a historic palazzo this 30-room hotel feels more like a stay in a beautiful private home. Entering from Via Beatrice notice the two story marble lobby flanked by book cases which run the length of the lobby behind the reception desk. You will be greeted as though you are a long friend coming home for a visit. At the south end of the lobby is a magnificent 2 story window that allows light from the lobby to flood into the hotel bar. Just a few steps down from the lobby is a reception room and access to either the elevator to your room or use the stairs. We utilized the stairs. The bedrooms are generous in size with plush bedding, gorgeous ensuite bathrooms (some bathrooms have marble sink tops from historic hotel in Rome), casement triple glazed windows with views onto the surrounding buildings and streets in this quiet enclave. We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace. In the afternoon the terrace with its lush plantings and awnings is a great place to escape for a quick nap or down time reading a book-also great in the evenings for a glass of wine or an Aperol Spritz. The location is perfect. Every attraction is walkable and the best way, and only way in my opinion, to see Rome is to walk. Rome is an open-air museum full of art and architecture and history. Stroll down streets, take the alley way, follow the delicious scents, and discover a small neighborhood osteria or bar. Shop the shops away from the large tourist attractions. Discover a fountain in a piazza and take the time to see Rome, truly see Rome. The beauty of staying in a small boutique hotel is that the people at the hotel will also share with you their favorite places to eat, shop, sip and walk and share historical tidbits. I cannot find the words to express how wonderful the people at the Hotel Monte Cenci are. They are kind, informative, helpful, funny, welcoming and feel like family. Whether first thing in the morning or late in the evening I looked forward to every interaction with all members of the staff. They make you feel as though you are a family member visiting. PPengguna TetamuWir haben letztes Jahr im Oktober unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gebucht. 5 Nächte Superior Doppelzimmer. Bei Ankunft im Mai diesen Jahres erhielten wir den Zimmerschlüssel und bekamen ein winziges Doppelzimmer mit alter Ausstattung. Bei Nachfrage ob dies das Superior DZ wäre sagte man mir, nein, es ist ein Standart Zimmer. Das Hotel wäre leider ausgebucht und könnte uns kein Zimmer der gebuchten Kategorie anbieten. Mir wurde als Entschädigung ein Discount von 50 Euro angeboten sowie ein anderes Zimmer ab dem nächsten Tag. Außerdem wurde angeboten das Gepäck in das neue Zimmer zu verbringen. (Gepäck wurde auf meine Nachfrage erst gesucht, aber lassen wir das) Das neue Zimmer war dann sogar ein geräumiges 3 Bett Zimmer. Die vorabendliche Reservierung für den nächsten Tag im Hotelrestaurant hat auch nicht funktioniert. Als wir zu Tisch wollten waren dann alle Tische belegt….. Beim auschecken wurde mir eine Rechnung über 5 Nächte Superior DZ vorgelegt. Nach Reklamation wurde der Discount von 50 € eingeräumt, aber Achtung, finde den Fehler! Standard DZ 170€, Superior DZ 220€, wir hatten eine Nacht Standard Zimmer und von dem berechneten Superior DZ wollte man 50 € abziehen. Ich soll für etwas bezahlen was ich nicht erhalten habe, bekomme dafür was ich nicht wollte zum regulären Preis. Dafür ist mein Ärger ja umsonst! Ich bekam noch den netten Hinweis das ich ja dann das größere 3 Bett Zimmer erhalten hätte (was ich nie gefordert habe) Ich bin ein gutmütiger Mensch und habe Verständnis wenn mal ein Fehler passiert, aber soviel Unvermögen ist mir in noch keinem Hotel unter gekommen und ich bin viel auf Reisen! Kein Hinweis auf ein Zimmer der niedrigeren Kategorie beim einchecken! Keine eigenständige Korrektur entsprechend der erhaltenen Räume beim auschecken!

비싼 로마의 숙소들 중에 이정도 싱글룸이면 가성비 나쁘지 않다고 봅니다.
짧은 일정이고 호텔에 머문 시간이 길지 않아 괜찮았어요.

It was a decent hotel, I'd say this is more of a premier Inn type of hotel, there's not much range when it comes to breakfast, bacon and eggs and mostly cake. It's quite far from Rome center so will need to get the metro, 15 minutes walk to the metro and then about 30 minutes on the metro to Rome center. I think getting charged £45 for tourist tax is ridiculous, especially being far out, with this extra money could have booked a hotel closer to Rome center.

PPengguna TetamuAbbiamo alloggiato in questo albergo per due notti. Appena arrivati ci hanno sistemato in una casetta esterna alla struttura principale con circa 5/6 stanze. Abbiamo lasciato le valige velocemente per andare a cena, e solo al nostro ritorno abbiamo iniziato a notare delle cose che via via sono andate a peggiorare. Abbiamo richiesto un ferro da stiro, e ci è stato detto che non sapevano dove fosse e che avrebbero chiesto l'indomani alla signora delle pulizie. In vari hotel a 4 stelle il ferro da stiro è addirittura presente in camera! Rientrati in stanza, abbiamo iniziato a notare dettagli relativi alla pulizia e all'aspetto della stanza. Nella doccia erano presenti capelli, la tavoletta del gabinetto era totalmente ingiallita (costo su Amazon € 15 spedizione inclusa!), l'unica sedia presente in stanza aveva un cuscino bianco con delle macchie nere e la pellicola protettiva totalmente strappata. A parte delle abat jour presenti ai due lati del letto, non esisteva un punto luce sul soffitto. Il telecomando della TV era rattoppato con dello shock nero, e appena preso in mano lo shock si è tutto srotolato. Ma il bello è arrivato quando, richiedendo un quarto cuscino che ci è stato prontamente portato, ho notato che esternamente aveva un mega alone giallo a chiazze. Inorridita ho avuto la malsana e fortunatamente giusta idea di controllare anche gli altri tre cuscini... Due di questi erano pieni di macchie gialle all'interno, anche sui bordi, che fuoriuscivano dal lenzuolo!! Chiamato il ragazzo alla reception l'ho caldamente invitato di portarmi cuscini immacolati, data soprattutto la presenza di mio figlio di 3 anni, altrimenti davvero avremmo dormito senza! Se non avessimo anticipato il pagamento (struttura consigliata come seconda opzione per un matrimonio) ce ne saremmo andati all'istante. Ci servirà da lezione: chi chiede il pagamento anticipato non è un albergatore serio!!! Dopo vari minuti sono stati portati i cuscini, puliti, ma senza nemmeno una scusa e nemmeno una parola! Ulteriore tasto dolente: la colazione ... Una colazione del genere viene offerta forse in un albergo a due stelle! Arredamento della sala imbarazzante, colazione misera, senza opzioni sempre presenti in un 4 stelle come le uova o della frutta fresca, bevande calde da una macchinetta di pessima qualita', due scelte di succo annacquatissimi... Il top è la vaschetta degli affettati... Di plastica, con delle crepe al livello della maniglietta per sollevarla, storta.... Il mio bimbo che adora il prosciutto cotto ne ha mangiato una fetta, mi ha guardato e mi ha detto che non era buono... E aveva ragione! 4 stelle dove? Anche 3 stelle sarebbero regalate! L'unica cosa positiva che ho visto: la cameriera della sala colazione, da sola, che correva da una parte all'altra e lavorava come una matta e senza che le chiedessimo nulla ci ha portato la sedia in più per il bambino mettendoci in un punto con più spazio, dato appunto le dimensioni ridotte della stanza. Prima e ultima volta!
