This hotel is tucked away on a side street in a perfect location for sightseeing. It's in a charming historic building that has been recently renovated to include all of the modern amenities. We absolutely loved the rooftop restaurant overlooking Rome while enjoying breakfast, drinks or dinner. The staff were all professional, friendly and gracious. Dining on the rooftop terrace was our favorite part of the hotel. I would have given this hotel 5 stars, due to the rooftop experience and the modern renovation, but we had an issue. The room we were originally assigned to had a terribly leaky shower, which caused water to flow around the sink, toilet, etc. We decided it wasn't acceptable and asked to be moved. We had to wait a long time while one person at the front desk tried unsuccessfully to find a room for us. We eventually talked to the manager, who did find another room for us, albeit not as nice as the original one we had. Per our Bonvoy status, we were eligible for a room upgrade, but that wasn't offered to us. Aside from that inconvenience (with no compensation for our trouble), the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. Overall, I recommend this hotel and would consider staying here again.

We stayed here in Feb 2023. The staff were really welcoming upon arrival. We stayed in deluxe studio with balcony. The room was lovely, very clean, with a large comfortable bed, beautifully decorated and lovely large bathroom with shower. You order your breakfast each evening at your preferred half hour time interval between 7.30-10.30am for the following morning. You can order items at additional cost but we didn’t as you have plenty of items on continental options and there was so much we couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast is delivered to your room which was lovely. There is a fridge/mini bar in your room and bar on the lower level with honesty box. The room is cleaned daily to a high standard and all the staff were so helpful be it with local recommendations and directions, to booking restaurants or delivery of ice to your room etc. The hotel is in a great location, very close to Trevi, Spanish steps and Pantheon and around 20 minute walk to Colosseum. Highly recommend.

Superb service, from each and every single member of the staff - from front desk to the restaurant and bar. We needed to stay an extra night and got a very effordable offer by the super lovely manager, Federica, in an upgraded room. If room size matter, the upgraded room we got for our extra night was closer in size to a 'normal' hotel size room for two. Their 'regular' room is a bit on the smaller end. Other than that we had a great time.

Just amazing. Spacious rooms, well equipped with plentiful towels, robes and slippers. Kettle and fridge. Beautifully decorated. Rainfall Shower. Staff are so helpful and friendly. They really make the place. Breakfast was amazing. You can basically ask for anything! And they bring it with a smile. Omelettes are yummy. Poached eggs and fresh juice all very good. Location is excellent. Walking distance to everything. Rooftop bar is super.

Booked only cause of location. Super easy to get to by either metro or taxi. Small, cute lobby and friendly staff upon arrival. We didn’t stay in the main building so the bellmen took our luggage and walked us outside and around the corner to another building to where we were staying. The room was nice and had a great sitting area with an extra bed. Voucher was given to us for breakfast at the restaurant next to us which was really nice. My only issue was the sink and bathtub didn’t drain so I was literally standing ankle deep in my partners bath water during my shower. At checkout I told reception and she offered us a breakfast voucher but already had it and 10% off our next stay( but we won’t use that). It was a nice gesture. They did hold our bags while we shopped before leaving. Location is really good and they suggested a pizza place that was horrible lol. Didn’t like having to go around the corner to another building to our room. Overall it was ok and think over priced for the accommodation.

I selected this hotel based on the location and my particular travel plans. My room was in their second building down the street from the hotel; there did not seem to be many rooms over here and it was quiet. Fortunately, they had someone to help me to my room and to find the other building. My room itself was large and well appointed; various drinks were included at no additional cost as well as a few sweets. The breakfast is served on the top level of the hotel so I trekked down the street every morning and I found the staff at the restaurant to be good. I did not interact much with the desk staff (although someone randomly knock on my door one evening saying they were a staff member and asking if I needed anything, I would suggest they call the rooms if they are so inclined) and ended up being out and about most of the time. Overall, the location worked out well for me and appreciated the provision of drinks in the room that were very welcome after a day of touring. It was a bit of a splurge for me price wise but worth it.

This hotel is a great place a central point for all the attractions in Rome. Located within walking distance to Castel San Angelo, this hotel is an excellent starting point for your adventures in the city. There are many highly reviewed restaurants nearby which made it convenient at the end of the day when our feet no longer wanted to walk anymore. The rooms are clean, well decorated and have ample plugs for your electronics. The breakfast buffet provides a lot of choices and does not disappoint. Special thanks to Pierro who looked after our family and provided excellent customer service and attention to detail to ensure our day started off well with a great breakfast. One of the worst things that could happen on a vacation happened, I dropped my phone inside the taxi cab. You lose your ability to capture moments, get directions, and even make payments. Honorable mention goes to Michelle who works at the front desk. Despite her busy duties, she contacted the taxi cab company, contacted the taxi driver directly, and located my phone. The driver kindly returned to the hotel and my phone was retrieved. This occurred on our very last day in Italy, and it would have been a huge loss to return home without my phone. Thank you so much Michelle for your hard work and pretty much saving our memories. No doubt, this was a great choice, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

Lebih tepat jika mengatakan bahawa mereka sudah kehabisan stok dan saya akan mengambil sesuatu yang lain; carbonara adalah kredit yang sangat baik untuk kredit. Akhirnya, Perkhidmatan tidak ada, terdapat kira-kira 5 pelayan di antara maitre d 'dsb. Saya terpaksa menunggu 20 minit untuk menerima roti, *****tara kopi - kelelahan kerana tidak melihat siapa-siapa lulus - dibawa di kaunter dengan harga yang sederhana € 3 dikenakan kepada saya walaupun saya sedikit rungutan !!!! We enjoyed a 3 night stay at Rose Palace. The front desk gave us tired travelers a warm welcome that made us relax immediately. Our room overlooked the back of the American Embassy with guards stationed outside 24/7 so it was definitely safe. The hotel is a little off the beaten path from the usual touristy spots in Rome but in a very quiet area. The room was very clean. We had 3 in our room and the 3rd person had to sleep on a full size pull out couch. It was comfy for a pull out (you couldn’t feel the bar under the mattress) but unless you put up the bed every day the only place to sit were the beds. It had a small fridge and the bathroom was updated but limited on counter space around the sink. The buffet breakfast was geared toward a variety of tastes. Scrambled eggs, a variety of pastries, orange juice, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, cheese, meat, etc. When the weather was nice we enjoyed sitting outside in the garden. There is a tiny grocery store called Co-op around the corner where you can buy the basics. Also on the next block is an ATM in the alcove of the bank entrance that seemed secure to use. Reading older reviews we thought there was a restaurant in the hotel serving dinner but it turned out to just be a small bar. So we walked a couple of blocks north and ate at Cesarina and enjoyed a good meal and friendly staff. There were a lot of other restaurants to pick from in a 2-3 block radius. The ones on Via Vittorio Veneto appeared to be more expensive than the ones northeast of the hotel. There is a taxi stand a couple of blocks away and we used both Uber and inTaxi for rides back to the hotel.

We stayed in room 415. It would be nice to think this room was a one off, but I suspect not. Don't book if you're a fully grown adult, you'll never get in the shower. If you do get in, bring a spare shower gel to hold the shower head still or it will swing randomly in all directions. The bed is the most uncomfortable ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Cleanliness, you can judge for yourself from the condition of the fridge (inside and out) and the chair provided. I would be embarrassed to rent out rooms like this - there's budget and then theres the Aphrodite!

If you are looking for a clean accommodation, perfectly located with friendly staff, then you are at a right place. Starting from the beginning, we had a lovely host Mr. Roton, who always had a smile on his face and was ready to answer any questions me and my husband had. Next, we stayed in Lilla room which is the one with 2 double windows facing the excavations and the street. I absolutely adored how much light we had in the room and how clean it was. Also, the bed and pillow firmness was perfect. We were provided with new towels every day and our room was being made daily. The shared kitchen was 24/7 accessible, so we always had a possibility to take bottled water from a fridge. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was based on self-service and consisted out of the food you could find in the fridge/on the counters: coffee, biscuits, fruits, deli meats, cheese, Nutella, marmalade, butter, sparkling and still water, fruit yogurt, milk, sliced bread. Many lovely sightseeings are just walking distance from the accommodation, so we enjoyed our walks to Piazza Navona, Spanish steps, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Via del Corso, Vatican, Colosseum. All in all, I would definitely stay again at the Temple View on my future trip to Rome and will highly recommend it to anyone!

We had an excellent experience at this quaint hotel. The location is very central to many sites as well as the Metro. We came from the airport via train and we’re able to catch the tram at Traverste to get close to the hotel and with a 48 hr pass it was easy and convenient. Same for going to other areas such as Testaccio to meet our niece for dinner or going to the port to catch our cruise. The room was nice, had AC and had a balcony overlooking some ruins. Breakfast every morning was nice and simple. Round bed was interesting. We would definitely stay here again.

Ursula and her son's were wonderful and welcoming hosts. Residenza Gens Julia is a fantastic location to walk from to explore all of Rome's major sites. Was great to come home to a cool and spacious room at the end of hot summer Rome days. Ursula and her sons were kind and generous and arranged transfers, made luggage storage available, provided plenty of information and suggestions on places to visit and eat. Our family room was spacious and very comfortable. There is a small fridge in the room, as well as a communal fridge that can be used. Breakfast was an added bonus and was simple and convenient. I would highly recommend Residenza Gens Julia to anyone visiting Rome and would stay there again on a future visit. Thank you!

First hotel on our 7 week tour to Europe and the Torre Argentina Relais was absolutely tops. The front door isn't the most obvious as it's the usual Rome apartment hotel. Taxi driver showed it to us and in we went. There wasn't really a sign saying Argentina Relais Torre; only a quite dirty floor mat at the foot of rhe stairs.. c'mon chaps; I know this is Italy but give us a sign. We weren't the only ones confused as a few days later a couple of sassenachs got really angry because they had no idea where the floor was. There's a lift but it goes to the 1st floor where the hotel is on the 1st floor minus 50 percent, ie you have to walk down the same amount of stairs as it would take to get UP to the hotel. The room was great with heaps of space. The beds were superb. The staff were, as usual in Italy, lovely... you'd probably remember us because my wife was the one who decided to trip over the step which had been there for the last three days! We never really like so-called continental breakfasts... but... it was served in our room with a choice made the night before. It was cooked, terrific and one of the best we had (including Scotland where I'm from). To be honest, the Torre Argentina isn't particularly salubrious (it is supposed to be where Julius Caesar was murdered incidentally) but it's pretty close to most of the things we wanted to see, ie it was about a 10 minute walk to the ”Red Buses” and the wedding cake. Go for it as it's excellent.

The positives: This hotel has extremely quirky decor, fun even, Alberto and Annetta could not have been friendlier and kinder. Very helpful and approachable guest service. We loved them! The room was a double and a twin, crowded but fine, every known snack is provided for free to include Prosecco, olives, baked goods, beer, water, jam, crackers etc. also a good espresso machine, as well as a toaster oven. Alberto greeted us with wine and cookies, several good maps and a book of Rome. I can’t tell you how wonderful the service is! Our room (21) looked out into Largo Argentin, where ongoing excavation has turned up many new ruins. Julius Caesar was assassinated there. It is a short walk to Colosseum, the Forum, Altare de la Patria and the Jewish quarter. Very close also to Trastevere and all the Centro Storico sights. We walked to Trevi, the Pantheon and the Steps without a problem. I do recommend this hotel but beware the showers! Alas the only issue we had was the shower. We are 2 women but it was so tiny we had bruises on our elbows from banging into the wall, also impossible to shave anything in there lol!! My husband would not be able to fit in the shower there. Having said that I would stay there again if only. E cause if the wonderful people who work there and the location.
