"The hotel was perfect, with a beautiful view, excellent service, and charming staff. It's a shame about the food; breakfast was perfect. The downside was the all-you-can-eat buffet—yes, of course, for those who like elaborate fare—basic, frozen, industrial products. You have to clear your own table like in a cafeteria; I've never seen anything like it in a hotel. Downstairs near the pool, there's a bar with no staff; you have to go to the bar to order and pay. The staff doesn't come to the tables."

"Very beautiful farmhouse, lovely setting with a beautiful swimming pool. For room n14 can accommodate 3 people, very large room, bathroom very large but not practical (no heating, the bathtub with jets a little dated but it is not a spa, the photos are very misleading. And the bathtub faucet is positioned at head level! Who knows 🙄...)No shutters, window in the roof which lets in the daylight, as well as the noise from the restaurant. Decent breakfast, hot drinks can be served at the bar. Practical; 5 minutes by car from Rosas."

"The bed in the second bedroom on the lower level squeaks when you turn over, and the beds are too narrow for a married couple. The elevator smells musty. Otherwise, a fantastic view and a great pool. The beds were already made up. Thank you for that. Ms. Samos."

"We were invited to stay overnight at this hotel by a friend from Cadaques. We had a most enjoyable stay, especially interesting because it coincided with the vendimia (grape harvesting), so breakfast outside was accompanied by a totally new experience for us, watching the grapes being bought in for pressing, etc. The hosts, especially Carme, Rafael and David were charming and very attentive. The room was rural in decor, with a very good bathroom and spotlessly clean, eqipped with a fridge and a safe, bathrobes, toiletries, etc. The breakfast is great - a jug of freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, bread with tomato and a generous plate of cold cuts and cheese, plus yogourts, fruit and as much coffee as you wanted. The post-breakfast wine tour and tasting, with the very knowledgeable English-speaking David, was fascinating and included a tasting of 5 wines, naturally, we bought a few bottles to take home with us! The location is superb, too. However, this is a rural hotel and run as such, so not staffed between 5.00 and 7.00 p.m. so ideally it's best not to arrive then, although we did and found a note telling us what to do, so it wasn't a problem. There is no restaurant, but the terrace bar opens at 7.00 p.m and served wine, drinks, cold cuts, cheese, etc., which was definitely enough for us and a friend. (Or you can buy your own snacks and have the use of the dining room.) All very informal, relaxed and "special", we really enjoyed it and definitely intend to return. Gracias Carme and Rafa!"

"Great value, friendly, clean hotel, parallel to the sea-front, but quiet. Basic, functional rooms with a good bathroom, all very clean. Very decent breakfast and friendly staff. Roses is well worth exploring outside the main tourist season when it's very busy and mainstream. Hotel Carmen is a very good place to stay."

"We have spent a great stay in Spain in the Hotel Rom. The beach is 200 m. Private parking for the vehicle. The hotel was very comfortable and comfortable and the staff were very friendly, polite and available. The restaurant is also a very strong point, with very good dishes, varied and quality. A great bravo also to the management team, which is present and aux petits soins pour leurs hôtes in order to make the stay even more pleasant."
