"A beautiful hotel which is kept spotless. The reception staff weren't very welcoming and I wouldn't say any of the staff are friendly if I'm honest apart from Oscar in the restaurant. The food was of good quality but limited choice. The food was luke warm/cold, the heat lamps don't seem to work. Unfortunately Juan carlos who cooked the meat/fish on the plancha served everything cold and raw. He'd already 'cooked' and piled lots of the fish/meat and placed it to one side. It was completely raw and not edible! This wasn't a one off, he did this each day. This is the only job he had to do! We told the gentleman in charge of the restaurant that the food was raw and he shrugged his shoulders and never answered us I thought the idea of the plancha is to cook the meats and fish fresh to order? This isn't the service I would expect in this type of hotel. The spa was a lovely addition to our stay although the spa wasn't as clean as I'd have like and the water looked quite white and dirty. I would love to return if they could correct the issues."

"Was referred here by Navy Lodge because they were booked. Clean, simple rooms for 50 euro. There is street parking or a dirt lot about a block away. I'll give this place 3.5 stars because walls are thin and it can get noisy, especially street noise in the morning. "

"Located next to the beach. Easy to access and reach its location. Great atmosphere within the hotel. Rooms were ample, clean and we had views to the swim up pool and beach. Good value for money considering the time of year we went. Was quiet as no traffic in the area. Service provided by staff members was brilliant especially Marcel and Virginia during breakfast and lunch always with a smile and good vibes. Ana who had been recently placed at the pool bar was great and although she had no prior experience in cocktails she made the best mojitos and san Francisco. Roberto from the kitchen was very helpful when crabclaws were served and needed opening. The best paellas were from Antonio. From the seafood, meat and black rice ones. He is spot one in making them. Highly recommend able."

"We stayed two nights, we made the reservation through Smartbox gift boxes. We had a baby and they didn't have any problems with us. The hostel has a very good location, in the low season there is plenty of parking nearby. It is very cozy, the room is very clean, the mattress is very comfortable. We had breakfast included and it is very delicious. The staff was very friendly, we loved it, we will definitely repeat as soon as we can return."

"This is a super little hotel between Rota and Costa Ballena. Albeit a little out of Rota Town, taxis were no problem for 13 of us. The beach is close by and there are a couple of restaurants and bars within walking distance if you want to stay close by. Relaxed atmosphere, no sunbed wars and quite quiet at times which was perfect for us. The pool opens at 11am which is ok if you like a lay in, and closes at 9pm. The rooms were very nice, we had a double bedroom suite for a family with pool and sea view. Modern, had every amenity required, iron, wash machine, dishwasher etc and spacious. Great layout of the hotel so that everyone gets a balcony with a pool view. The staff were lovely and helpful. They even helped order our Domino’s one night as we were struggling with our Spanish! The only tiny gripe was the amount of lawn mowing and strimming that happened daily, but this is a minor issue. Great value, it is self catering so you take your own bins out which is fine. Towels get replaced once a week and the apartment cleaned once a week. But like I say, there’s a washing in your room. Aqua bar and restaurant attached is lovely, relaxed atmosphere and good for both lunch and dinner. Location if anything if 4/5 but would highly recommend a family stay here. Everything else is 5/5. You’ll need to scrub up on your Spanish a little to get by, but we quite liked that. Rota is lovely, loads to do and close to Cadiz and Costa Bellana. We had children between 7-15 and had a really nice time here."

"Liked · NIce hotel in a quiet location on the edge of the town of Rota. Its a short drive into town or there is a bus every half an hour from just outside. The beach is a short 5 minute walk through a pine forest. We had a small apartment with living space, bedroom, terrace & a small kitchen. Everything was spotlessly clean but the kitchen is pretty basic, not really designed for full meal cooking, with only a microwave & 2 rings. The hotel has a American style Tex Mex restaurant which was not to our taste, they also serve breakfast which we didnt have. There are other restaurants within a short walk. Hotel is pet friendly with dog bed & water bowl provided. There is plenty of free street parking and the hotel also has secure gated parking area for €9 a night. Disliked · Checking in. Even though we were the only people checking in, it took half an hour of form filling by us & keyboard bashing by the male receptionist. I had paid in full through the *********** app but even so, the receptionist insisted on having my card number, expiry date & CVV number to "check with his records", something that I was entirely unhappy about."
