"The express hotel exceeded expectations. The room was very clean and tidy. Free parking was available. The stadium behind the hotel had athletes training very early in the morning, but the sound insulation was very good and no noise could be heard. I will choose it again next time."

"Good stay Apt 201 - One-week stay with a family of 4. To improve the apartment, I advise the establishment to clean the window frames and sills, add a cotton bath mat and a kitchen cloth, clean the headboard, check the shower gel refill (it was empty on arrival), add an extra bin bag and toilet paper roll, a few large plates or a glass cutting board and a large knife for cutting vegetables, add a salad spinner, and repaint in some areas."

"The best thing about this hotel is the lovely lady on reception who couldn't do enough to welcome us and talk to us about what to do on our quick stop off on route to Calais.Recommend the superior room , pretty decor, lovely view of old timber buildings, just needs new bathroom suite but was clean enough .The welcome from this little hotel made us overlook ,Thank u so much for your hospitality 🙂"

Les Boréales - Appart'Hotel & Restaurant

"Very poorly equipped: no dishwasher, no oven, no crockery (only two plates, no serving dishes), no vacuum cleaner, no hairdryer. Everything is geared towards making people eat at the restaurant, which is expensive and has a very limited menu. The swimming pool costs €10 per hour and the water is cold and barely heated. They charged us for a pet after the fact, using our credit card imprint because there was cat hair in the apartment, even though our cat died before our stay and we sadly didn't have him with us. Outrageous!"

B&B HOTEL Rouen Centre ★★★
"I was hesirant at first..but the walk to the Hotel was just 20min from Cathedral. The Hotel maybe in an area of mixed race and culture but I felt safe and KFC was in the shopping centre next door...ideal for late eats. The room was ideal..basic..plenty of hot water. The Breakfast was plentiful and nice choice. Staff friendly too. I Slept well. Yes the Hotel needs some TLC. BUT it was okay and Comfy..I like Rouen a lot. Thanku!"

Hyatt Place Rouen ★★★★
"The hotel is located quite far, on higher ground. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Rouen Museum of Fine Arts, which is a bit far, and the walk back was uphill and left me breathless! The hotel facilities are relatively new, the rooms are large, and the beds are very comfortable. However, the room I was given was on the back side of the hill, so the view of the city wasn't great. A room facing the city would have been much better! The breakfast was excellent, very well prepared. The tea bags were from Kusmi and tasted great. The coffee was also delicious, and there were salmon, ham, cheese, etc., all very elegant!"

B&B Hotel Rouen Centre Rive Droite ★★★
"Parking was great, once we found we could drive straight in and the barrier would rise! Additional parking very close by but not required. Greeted in a friendly, welcoming manner. Room adequate for sleeping but no cups for coffee in room...paper cups provided which are no good for re-use. Accidentally spilt a second coffee as hadn't realised cup had failed. Result was stained sheets for our three night stay: not changed by morning clean through! Breakfast was excellent and sufficient and location ideal for Rouen Cathedral and other historic places. Only bad aspect was that, due to the proximity of the Seine, many mosquitos made their way into the room and we suffered many bites. Instead of opening window, utilise the air conditioning or take repellant."

"We were happy with the hotel; we arrived by car and there's indoor parking for €8 per day. We left the car after checkout while we explored the city; there's a bus stop nearby, a 10-15-minute drive away. The breakfasts were excellent! There was a huge variety of Normandy cheeses. A huge selection! It was clean, and there was a large sitting area in the lobby. Soundproofing was also included."
