"Every room in this hotel actually has a so-called owner. Our mysterious owner is in Vancouver and he must have invested in this room, which has caused chaotic management. First of all, the cleaning is not timely. You won't get such service if you don't urge them. Secondly, the so-called breakfast is just a few muffins. The cost has been reduced to the lowest, but the room rate is a little more expensive than that of ordinary hotels. Finally, here comes the point. Generally, when you check out in Canada, you just return the room card to the front desk to check out. This hotel will check the room, and it is very careful and nitpicking. As a result, he discovered a new world. There was a small piece of paint peeling on the toilet door, and he insisted that it was damaged by my cat. He has no common sense at all. If a cat's claws scratch it, there will be scratches. After explaining for a long time, the front desk asked us to communicate with the owner directly by phone and wanted to deduct $200 from us. The owner didn't give in and didn't stop talking until we said we would call the police. He said then go ahead and call us, and insisted on charging us at least $79. The police said that these owners are very familiar with the laws of Saskatchewan, and such economic disputes must be resolved in court. Ordinary travelers don't have so much time, and will finally give in and pay to seek peace. Whether or not you have pets, this lesson should be shown to all travelers as a warning. We don't know if this is a common practice in all hotels in Saskatoon or just this one. Hopefully, this is the only owner's disgusting practice. There were also cabinet legs in the room that were probably gnawed off by the dog. Fortunately, it wasn't the cat that could be blamed. If you want to have a happy journey, try not to waste so much energy and time on accommodation, choose other hotels!"

"It's our 4th time at this location for the past years. We love their theme rooms and their pool slide with very accommodating Filipino receptionists. However, this time the hot tub/jacuzzi jets were not working and very very hot and shower/ washroom in the pool area is out of order. It was father's day we undetstand how busy the pool is. There were intoxicated guests that were allowed to swim too. A few were not wearing proper swimming attire. The cold pool was murky. The lifeguards were just allowing the kids to dive and jump in the pool. We love the Soace Observatory Theme of our room with Fluorescence effect. However when you turn off that uv light thing you would see how yellowish the white bed sheets under the blue linen were :(."

"The electrical outlet was lose and wobbly. The maintenance guy came and still plugged in cords ect even the outlet was not secure. Requested to have a luggage stand brought to the room as there wasn't one there. No hot water the first night nor the next morning. Ok the next night. Asked for clean towels ect the next day and told front desk not to have service people enter our room but to wait till we returned. When we got back to our room we found the towels were laid on the bed. When leaving the hotel Sunday morning I asked to speak to manager. I was told the manager wouldn't be in till the next day, Monday. The girl at the front desk confirmed my phone number and email and said she would have the manager contact me the following day. No one has contacted me regarding my concerns."

"I was very satisfied with my stay. I was glad that the pick up from the airport was included, though I needed to wait quite a long time. I would arrange a different system, e.g. I would send out a form after booking and ask if the guest arrives by plane, if yes, with which flight, so then a shuttle can be arranged on a shorter time. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was nice, the gym is clean and the pool area was also amazing. I would return in the future."

"Hotel is nice, I would stay here again. On the surface it looks very nice and modern and clean, but if you look closer you can see that the construction/upgrade work was cheap and not done properly. For example, the door in the bathroom looks very nice but if you look closer it is not flush with the wall, and the latch is actually sticking out very far from the frame in order for the door to line up with it because it is so crooked. Not a huge deal to me, but for the money I’d want it to be a bit more well done. We did the “lil romance” package as well which was nice but not worth the money. We got a bottle of champagne, a cheesecake slice and some roses in the room, as well as a free breakfast from the restaurant which was all nice, but not for the price that it is. The food was ~20 each, and I could have brought a cheaper bottle of champagne myself which would have done the job just fine. Overall it was good, but I wouldn’t do it again."
