"The accommodation environment is good, and the service is excellent. I encountered a small issue during my stay, which the housekeeping department handled perfectly. I booked a deluxe twin room, and the front desk upgraded me to a room on the second floor of Building 8, near the elevator. Upon entering, there was a strong odor from the toilet side, but it disappeared after flushing a few times. The room lighting was a bit dim, but the courtyard view was beautiful, and it was quiet at night. On the day of check-out, I even went to the first floor opposite to look at my room from the outside and noticed that the windows were tinted, providing excellent privacy, which was reassuring. The breakfast selection was decent, and the taste was standard. I particularly enjoyed the fried noodles and preserved vegetable biscuits. One suggestion: I hope there can be labels for the three sauces in the salad bar, indicating their names. It was quite a long walk from Shaoxing North Station by subway. I'd recommend taking a taxi directly from the high-speed rail station to the hotel lobby instead. Check-in was very smooth, and overall, I'm satisfied. I hope to have the chance to stay at Shaoxing Hotel again when I visit Shaoxing in the future."

"The Red Hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to the bustling water town. Lu Xun's former residence is just a short walk away, and the food downstairs is incredibly delicious. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with disposable toiletries. It's quiet at night, with no noise, and there's a self-service laundry room and a refrigerator – very thoughtful touches. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, assisting with my luggage and providing detailed travel information. It's a great value hotel, a true gem, and I'll definitely stay here again."

Plus, it's very close to Lu Xun's former residence."

We had to wait a full two and a half hours after arriving before a room was ready for us. Secondly, on our last day, we wanted to request a late check-out, but we never received a confirmation."

"Taking advantage of spring's arrival in Jiangnan, I came to experience the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town. Before arriving, I was already looking forward to immersing myself in the special atmosphere of these towns, and choosing Keqiao was definitely the right decision, as was selecting Youchao Hotel. The town at night is beautiful, and the hotel is right by the small river, truly evoking the feeling of 'small bridges, flowing water, and homes'. Walking on the cobblestone paths, I felt like I was part of the town. After a tiring day of exploring, I returned to the hotel for a special cocktail. In my slightly tipsy state, my affection for the town grew even more. The hotel itself is also stunning, with a huge floor-to-ceiling window showcasing many plants that blend seamlessly with the hotel's Chinese-style decor. The service is excellent too; after I requested something, they responded very quickly. This money was truly well spent!"

The hotel's design is excellent, especially the outdoor landscaping in the central area, which created a fantastic ambiance, particularly with the rainy weather. Our room also had an open balcony, and the design that combines both privacy and great views is a nice touch. They even offered a complimentary hotel photography service, and the photos turned out really well, far exceeding our expectations!"

"During the Chinese New Year holiday, I brought my family to Shaoxing and stayed at the Lanting Hotel. The hotel is located within the scenic area, offering a great environment. Check-in was smooth, and the lovely lady at the front desk helped us arrange our room and breakfast. Any service requests during our stay were promptly attended to. On the second morning, we had an appointment for a hike. My child unexpectedly wanted to join, and they thoughtfully waited for us before setting off! The staff member accompanying us on the hike shared insights into the scenic area's history and culture along the way. After the hike, they even helped us arrange an electric shuttle to the travel photography studio. The makeup artist had excellent taste, assisting us with outfit selection, makeup, and styling. The photographer was also highly skilled, capturing candid moments, choosing beautiful backdrops, and expertly utilizing lighting. Finally, the same makeup artist helped us select the photos, efficiently picking out the best ones based on expressions and backgrounds, ensuring we were left with truly satisfying memories. This trip was complete, and I sincerely thank everyone who helped us along the way."
The Green Hidden Wanjia Hui Resort Hotel (Shaoxing Lu Xun's Hometown Cangqiao Zhijie Store)
"I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, and I'd definitely choose it again if I come back. I usually stay at chain hotels, but all the nearby Hantings, Orange Hotels, and Atours were either too old or had too many negative reviews. I tried this one for a night and immediately extended my stay for another four or five days. Pros: The facilities are new and complete, hygiene standards are met, the service is warm and well-trained, and the location is convenient. Although the bed is quite close to the door and you can hear people talking in the corridor, luckily it was off-season so it wasn't too crowded or noisy. I could tell the hotel had already addressed soundproofing issues; the door is quite thick and heavy. I'd recommend choosing a room on a higher floor, on the inner side, not an end room, for a great experience. They also offer welcome fruit daily (though it wasn't always fresh one day), and I received a welcome gift on the first day. Cangqiao Zhijie street is just a 5-minute walk away, and within 2km there are shopping malls and the Lu Xun Native Place scenic area. Food delivery is plentiful and fast, and almost every time, the robot delivered my order right after it arrived. The service attitude is excellent; much better trained than many newly opened hotels. The staff are enthusiastic and proactive, and any issues communicated via WeChat were resolved immediately. I was really impressed with the cleanliness; in all these days, I didn't find any bugs except for one fly. Cons: The overhead shower in the bathroom had a slightly chaotic spray, splashing everywhere, and it was directly facing the door crack, so the floor outside would get wet every time I showered. On the last day, the air conditioner's warm air had a slight odor. It would be helpful if there were 'Do Not Disturb' or 'Make Up Room' signs to hang on the doorknob (I didn't see any electronic ones). This way, the hotel would know guest preferences without prior communication, and housekeepers wouldn't need to knock to ask if a room didn't need cleaning. The cleaning staff, however, were still very responsible."

"Upon first entering, I thought it was great, the hotel felt like an ancient town. However, the rooms are located behind these buildings, and walking through the narrow alleys at night was a bit scary. The stone paths were covered in moss, there were black doors and red lanterns. If you like this nostalgic style, it's perfect. The breakfast was on par with what you'd expect from a 500-600 yuan hotel. A special shout-out to Tao Yufei, who was very kind and helped prepare a takeaway breakfast for my friend who couldn't make it."
