Next time, I'll definitely choose to stay in the old building!"

The hotel's location in Shaoxing Tiandi is excellent, and the decor is modern with a well-designed green landscape. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary extra services like the black-awning boat ride and afternoon tea. The afternoon tea was not only visually appealing but also delicious and not too sweet, served in a lovely setting. In the evening, the bar even featured a Yuejun Nanci (Shaoxing Pinghu Tune) performance. Our room was quite spacious, simple, and cozy, and the coral fleece bathrobes were very comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and proactively offered assistance. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of fruits and other food options! Overall, the hotel was very comfortable and provided exceptional value for money."

"Every step is a new view! This resort hotel is definitely worth staying at. I was surprised to find a Wolfgang's here; I've eaten at the one in Shanghai, and for the price, the steaks are top-notch! Too bad it was closed for Chinese New Year this time. I ate at Shen Lu Chinese Restaurant a few times during the New Year period, and it was excellent! The hotel breakfast still has room for improvement. The Chinese noodles are freshly pulled by the chef on the spot and taste good, but the Western pastries are a bit lacking. I hope they can improve those."

I originally booked two nights, but checked out after one and left the next day. My positive review mainly came from the front desk's insistence on my check-out. This hotel is truly worse than even a Home Inn. For nearly 700 yuan, it's simply indescribable. I recommend choosing a chain hotel, not this one."

The breakfast buffet offered freshly cooked noodles, fried eggs, bread, and coffee. After a good meal, it was only about a 10-odd yuan taxi ride to Lu Xun's former residence. I left my luggage at the front desk, which made exploring so much easier. The staff (the lady at the front desk) was also very helpful!"

"Bringing my kids to Lu Xun's former residence, we chose to stay on Cangqiao Old Street, with its charming bridges and flowing water. The hotel butler added me on WeChat beforehand and told me to set my taxi's destination to Wangjianglou, offering an electric buggy pickup which made getting around very convenient. The room was clean, tidy, and well-laid out, even equipped with a XiaoDu smart assistant. We had a great view of the old town from our window, and the hotel lobby offered an even better vista. The resident cat, 'Fugui,' was also adorable. The hotel is very close to Lu Xun's former residence, Shen Garden, and Fushan."

"The environment here is lovely, very green and lush. However, this hotel is just too dark at night. Staying in building 8, when we went out for a late-night snack and came back, there were hardly any lights outside, making it very dim. We checked in early that day and the room hadn't been cleaned yet, but the cleaning lady did an exceptionally thorough and clean job, which was really great! It's a shame the air conditioning was just too cold. My friend and I both got sick the next day. We called the front desk to adjust the temperature, but they said it's a central air conditioning system and you can only adjust the fan speed, not the actual temperature. Even setting it to 30 degrees for heating didn't help; it was practically useless."

"This hotel is all looks, no substance. The design is stunning, but the actual experience is severely lacking and doesn't live up to the Hyatt Centric brand. Upon arrival, carrying heavy luggage, there were no other guests, but the bellhop just stood there, observing coldly, with no greeting or offer of help. It made me wonder if you only qualify as a guest if you have a suitcase. During check-in, the front desk specifically mentioned that the minibar was only complimentary for the first use, and refills wouldn't be. However, when housekeeping cleaned the room, they completely emptied and refilled the minibar, even replacing a drink I had half-finished and put in the fridge. Here's a rather ironic contrast: moss and grime were clearly visible in the sink drain, completely unattended, while the minibar was cleaned with 'spotless' thoroughness. The镂空 (open-design) balcony gets drenched when it rains, staying damp and never fully drying. Placing a fabric sofa there shows a complete disregard for usability in that environment. The breakfast setup, a combination of buffet and à la carte, was very awkward. During peak hours, the à la carte dishes were incredibly slow to arrive and completely lacked any sense of refinement. They should either stick to a traditional buffet or fully commit to a refined individual dining experience, not try to do both poorly. Around 9-10 PM, the lobby bar was extremely noisy, with guests speaking loudly. The hotel made no effort to reduce noise or maintain order, and the din echoed throughout, completely destroying the quiet, upscale ambiance the hotel should have. All staff displayed a professional smile, but it felt superficial and distant, like a 'smiling tiger.' There was an underlying sense of condescension, as if they were judging guests, which was particularly noticeable at the front desk. I wonder if the lack of local competition has allowed them to inflate prices while lowering service standards. It's a shame about such good design. If the service doesn't match, even the most beautiful hotel won't retain guests."

It's within walking distance to the subway station and major attractions, and across the street from Joy City, making it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. The service was also incredibly thoughtful; since my train wasn't until the next afternoon, the hotel kindly offered a late check-out and even gave me an aromatherapy candle when I left. Although I didn't stay in a 'Jimu' room type this time, there were still differences in the bedding, coffee packs, and the oolong/black/green teas in the mini-fridge.
