Penginapan Intercontinental Hotel & Resorts di Shenzhen

We stay at the intercontinental hotel during the dragon boat festival and the service at the hotel is exceptional. The staffs are attentive and helpful especially when we are teavelling with a group of 3 young children and an elderly. Shout out to Chris and Linda a from concierge, johnathan from catering.

My family of four had a wonderful two-night stay at the InterContinental Shenzhen OCT over the past couple of weeks. The standout feature for us was the fantastic pool and man-made beach area. The swimming pool is massive, offering a refreshing and relaxing environment for a great swim, while the artificial beach is reasonably clean with soft sand and clear water. However, the staircases and washrooms could use some maintenance to address dampness and mold. The hotel grounds are wonderfully spacious and open, and the room layout is thoughtfully designed, ensuring a very comfortable sleep. We especially loved the oversized bathtub, which made for a wonderfully relaxing soak. On the downside, the distance from our room to the elevator lobby was excessively far. Combined with a temporary elevator outage for maintenance during our stay, it caused quite a bit of inconvenience, taking us a good two to three minutes just to walk from our room to the lifts. A special shout-out to the Manager Dafne from the guest service team. She followed up with us closely from start to finish, showing exceptional hospitality, checking in on our comfort, and paying genuine attention to our children's needs. Her attentive care truly added a special touch to our trip. As for the food, the hotel definitely has room for improvement. The buffet felt overpriced for what it offered, so we chose not to dine at the hotel for other meals. Breakfast was decent, but the hygiene standards in that area still warrant a review.

There was a great variety of quality food at the buffet breakfast. The service was excellent, after check in and even after check out, club staff followed up proactively through WeChat. Loved the infinity club swimming pool. The bathroom was thoughtfully designed with heated floor tiles next to the bath. The room was very clean, many thanks to 小李 for the housekeeping. Really enjoyed the relaxing stay, feel treated like a special guest, will definitely return when there are special offers again. Awesome beach and pretty views.
