Очень понравился гестхаус. Расположение хорошее, прямо на противоположной стороне от автобусной терминала. Автобусная остановка близко расположена, что позволяет добраться в любую точку города. Сам гестхаус очень стильный, чистый, было очень приятно находиться. Хозяин гестхауса иностранец, хорошо разговаривает как по- английски, так и по- корейски.

Tout était très bien. Chambre spacieuse avec kitchenette. L’hôte est adorable et nous a même déposé au restaurant en voiture.

We stayed here for 2 nights in july 2020. Our GPS directed us correctly to the location and free parking is just in front of the entrance. We had a top floor room with bubblebath. Juha is fluent in English and easy to communicate with in private as well as online. The room is very clean and a fridge and freezer is available as well as a small kitchenette. Breakfast includes (french) toast, eggs, salad , jam and butter and is brought to your room between 8 and 9.30. Driving into Seoraksan National Park is closeby. We highly recommend this little gem.

This is an amazing place to stay if you're on a budget and even if you're not. We arrived early from Seoul with the intent to stay two days. James at reception (who speaks excellent English) asked us what we planned to do then sat us down with the Sokchu map. There was so much to see and he was so helpful that after he was done we amended our booking to three days. So far we have not been disappointed with Sokchu nor the James BLuE. The room is cosy but has towels, a good bed, AC, a mini-fridge and AC. Definitely more than I was expecting from a hostel. There are dorm rooms and private rooms. Breakfast is toast, jam and coffee/tea. The location is perfect for getting to the intercity bus terminal, busses to Seoraksan or just walking around Sokcho. It is one of the nicest, best value places I have ever stayed at!
