"We visited the hotel esplendido as we do every year for lunch, we noted appears odd we were the only table there at lunch time, when our order was taken we were asked if we would like bread and olives , yes that would be nice ,lunch was ok had a coffee and the bill, to our astonishment 4 very small slices of dry bread was €8 18 olives was €3.50 and a ashtray with alioli in it was €3.50 so bread n olives cost an extra €15 without any warning , I commented it was a rip off but was told that was the price and that’s it,, now I understand why we were the only table this lunchtime and will definitely not be returning €84.90for 2 wok prawns bread and olives a coke a water and 2 coffee."

"There was always a sewer smell in the room. The service is nothing to say, just average. The location is really good, as soon as you step out you are right in front of the square. However, the parking lot is huge and difficult to find. We went around and around to find it for a long time. It is very difficult to drive in this small town. It is recommended that you come here to drive yourself in this small town. There is nothing special about it."

"Excellent apartments very stylish and modern. Check in was easy after we placed passport correctly in scanner. They also ask if you need more than one key which is good idea. Mountain View apartment on 3rd floor was excellent. It was spotless. Kitchen area was perfect the doors opened to reveal kitchen and slotted in at the sides if you wanted to leave kitchen open. Large fridge. Plenty of cups plates cutlery etc. Toaster and coffee machine provided. Below oven this also opens to reveal chopping boards and Tupperware that people might miss. Sofa very comfy, table and chairs if you wanted to eat in the apartment. Shower room and separate toilet all very modern. Hairdryer and bathrobes provided. Bed was huge and so comfortable. This apartment has 2 balcony’s for 2 people to sit on along with 2 more patio doors that also open. Air-con easy to work and plenty of lightening. Large TV and you can login to Netflix etc. We are returning in February and have booked the Seaview apartment but when we return in May we are booking Mountain View again. I’m sure all are as nice as each other. The restaurant below gives you 10% off if staying in the Repic. The food was lovely. Our new place to stay in Sóller 😊"

"This place is literally heaven on earth. Beautiful homely finca set in lush green grounds. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Just the right amount of attention and always willing to help. We wanted a short break to recuperate and couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is well situated, just a short walk from Soller town/the Port tram and 30 mins drive from Palma airport. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean. We had a terrace room (no.4) which was perfect. Quiet and with a lovely Mountain View. Breakfast was exceptional and personal. Drinks and food were always excellent and well priced. We ate and drank there most days and had a fabulous paella with live guitar soundtrack one night which was quite magical. The staff are amazing and always willing to help. They arranged some great tables at local restaurants (shout out to Nunu at Port Soller) and a massage in house which I’d highly recommend. Thanks ladies for all your kind service this week. We will be back and hopefully soon!! Katie & John"

"We found it overpriced for what you get and definitely not a 4 star hotel. In our opinions it is more like a b & b. Extremely steep staircases. Stayed in room with balcony on the first floor. Quite clean, but the photos on the website are much enhanced and did not properly reflect our room. We therefore feel we cannot recommend this 'hotel' which we notice has now been downgraded to 3 and a half stars."

"The Staff were indifferent, service was slow and lacking in curtesy. The breakfast was really bad, the eggs were under cooked, the toast thick and hard. we were told people have been coming to the hotel for THE BREAKFAST for 15 years. Nothing looked good or tasted good. The ironing board delivered to us was rocking so badly that the iron fell off and could have burnt me. The fruit sent to our room was stale and rotten ( see pic) The wifi signal was weak in the rooms, the lighting was dim and the toilet pan wobbled."

"This hotel has a five star service , breakfast and dinner. Room had a fridge in it. They also have a great pool. Reception staff were excellent . It also has a great location - close to the port , beach, and restaurants Easy to visit Soller village from here. In May we managed to find free parking exactly infront of the hotel. The only problem was that we arrived late and could not use the sauna, as you need to pre book it at least 1 hr before ."
