"Nice location, beautiful open garden space, excellent food and conveniently close to other attractions. My only issue is the room quality - relatively small with very cheap finishes - plastic crates for bedside tables, corrugated iron sheet as a bed backing-board and tins for light shades. I guess they're going or the rustic/informal settlement feel but to me, it missed the mark, especially given the price paid for the room. I don't think all rooms have those finishes, but I'm guessing those are the ones you get if you declare that you're local?"

"We were met by a very warm and friendly welcome from Maria. We were shown the facilities and offered a welcome drink which was a lovely touch. This was a great place to stay for the night whilst travelling The Garden Route. Very affordable and we got a lovely breakfast included. We didn’t get time to make use of the lovely outdoor area or to sit around the fire pit which is lit nightly but this was also a lovely touch. Maria is extremely helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you for letting us stay with you. We were very impressed and would recommend to others!"

"The price is not high! If you have any questions at check-in, you will not say it when you check out! The original order was 2 single rooms. I insisted that I register one person to live in 😅 but the village is very good, safe and beautiful, the pizza shop is great, you can have dinner."
