"We have been this October long weekend in Aveiro and they told us that we had to have dinner at this restaurant. And we really loved it!!! The waiters were very attentive and efficient and recommended creamy rice and two varieties of Bacalado with a different glass of wine for each choice...a success!!!! And then the desserts left us speechless!!! Unbeatable quality-price!!! I definitely recommend it."

It is within walking distance of the station and the old town and therefore some distance from modern area. Our corner room was spacious, well-furnished and had nice harbour views. Breakfast was good and we had a nice dinner in Il Porto - one of several nearby restaurants."

It was like a dungeon, and we decided not to stay. We booked elsewhere at the last minute and sought a refund for the 2 nights, but got nothing. Not even 50%. Utterly disgusted. Don Alfredo does not deserve your custom."
