"We stayed here for one night and it was a wonderful experience. The owner/manager was very nice and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean. And the beds were sooo comfortable. The breakfast was very nice, sausage,gravy,biscuits, eggs, cereal,muffins, waffles,juice, and the best coffee. The hotel is under renovation but don’t let that stop you from staying there. There was no noise or inconvenience because of the renovations. And a big thank you to Shelly. She’s the best to come to your aid if you need anything and a very thorough housekeeper"

"Entering the room I pulled out the office type chair and I found trash on the seat from a previous guest and the cover of the chair was totally worn out with padding sticking out all over. On the floor behind the desk was more left over trash. Only one of the three lights over the sink worked. No ice bucket in the room but it was supplied but the ice machine was a small home unit that would be emptied out if 5 or 6 of the 20+ rooms helped themselves to ice. "Breakfast" was a joke. About the only thing was a waffle machine but even with their cooking spray applied, the waffle stuck to the machine and broke apart when I tried to get it out. I had to call in the morning as no one was at the desk at almost 9am and was told a receipt would be emailed immediately, 12 hours later I'm still waiting. I wanted to be sure the 100 dollar deposit they insisted on was going to be refunded. I should have left immediately when they mentioned the deposit."
