Останавливались на 2 ночи с сотрудницей. У нас был в понедельник ранний вылет из Вены, поэтому не успевали приехать на самом первом автобусе из Нитры. Решили приехать не на одну ночь, а на 2, чтобы в воскресенье посмотреть Вену. Гостиницу бронировали заранее, дней за 10. Выбирали долго, бронировали через букинг. Выбрали самый дешевый из предложенных в этом отеле номер на двоих. Цена была ниже за счет двух ярусной кровати. Да и сам номер крохотный, меньше других вариантов. Но для ”переночевать два раза” нам показалось достаточно. Ок. Заплатили и успокоились. Каково же было нам по приезду услышать, что это номер на одного человека!!!! Шок. Растерянность - деньги немалые, около 180 евро. А ведь были варианты и более крутых отелей в том же микрорайоне, за 203 евро на двоих за 2 ночи, например. Я открываю свой кабинет букинга и показываю, что забронированный нами номер на двоих!!!!! Портье с кем то долго беседует по тел, говорит ок, надо подождать до часу дня. У меня очень плохой английский, поэтому звоню мужу, даю трубку портье, и тот подтверждает, что все ок, но надо подождать до часу. Оставляем кучу чемоданов, рюкзаки с ноутами практически на полу между стойкой регистрации и обеденными столами, потому что камеры хранения вещей нет, ресепшн как такового тоже нет - узенькое пространство переоборудовано под кафе, или как они себя громко именуют ресторан. Стоять перед стойкой с портье почти вплотную попами к носам завтракающих постояльцев не самая приятная ”поза”. Портье при этом еще и официант, который то и дело убегает то на кухню, то к микроволновке, то к клиенту.... Кошмар из которого хотелось побыстрее уйти. Взяли самое необходимое и поехали в Вену. Из Вены вернулись около 17 часов, и нас тут же обрадовали, что мы должны доплатить 46 евро за номер. Сказать, что мы расстроились, это просто промолчать. Мы пытались снова объясниться, показать бронь, но портье сказал или доплачивайте или один человек. Ок. Мы доплатили и попросили фактуру. Нам сказали, что дадут утром. Ок. Далее, в номер можно попасть на маленьком лифте, который запускается ключом. Портье видел, что мы в шоке и не можем запустить лифт, однако не торопился нам помочь. Пришлось просить, хотя он стоял тут же рядом, в метре от лифта и наблюдал попытки вставить ключ и нажать этаж. Кто же должен догадаться, что ключ надо еще повернуть в замке. Лично мне с такими допотопными лифтами не приходилось сталкиваться. Комната... Поражала своей крохотностью и необдуманностью дверей. Если открыть шкаф, то блокируется входная дверь и дверь ванной комнаты. Почему бы тогда не поставить шкаф с дверью на полозьях? Справедливости ради надо сказать, что номер был идеально чистым, батареи все работали (был конец октября, похолодало и мы включили отопление в комнате и в ванной). В ванной были салфетки, жидкий гель возле умывальника и в душевой. Претензий никаких нет. Все в ванной и туалете идеально работало, одно удовольствие. Вот про комнату такого не скажешь. Нет ни тумбы под чемоданы, стул только один,

We're a family of 5 and have just returned from an 8-night trip to Vienna. We loved our stay at the Jufa - the hotel is clean and bright, our room was large and clean. The beds are comfy and the shower is fantastic. The breakfast buffet has a vast selection on offer and is scrumptious. Public transport is very close to the hotel and the connection to Vienna City Center and many sights is quick and uncomplicated. There are several supermarkets and many eateries within a few minutes walking distance. Most important - the staff is all around very friendly, smiley and so helpful. If you need something - ask, and the staff goes out of their way to accommodate. We'll be back!

Trip Advisor Simms hotel feedback My wife and I have just returned from a three day break with Newmarket travel, sold as a ‘Vienna Christmas Markets’ package. Our hotel was the Hotel Simms, positioned in district 11 (Vienna has 23 municipal districts, the centre being district 1), the hotel was fantastic and worthy of its four star rating. The rooms were warm, clean and quiet, the breakfasts provided for every taste, a combination of hot food and continental breakfasts. My only criticism of the hotel itself would be the TV channels! Out of around 50 channels I could only find one English speaking news channel provided by a French TV service! Like most people I don’t go on holiday to watch TV but there are times in the room when you do want to watch some TV and although a lot of the TV content was in English there were no subtitles! Why can’t the hotel look into providing more channels in English? However, my biggest problem with the hotel was its location and distance from the centre of Vienna! The area was described as a student area and although I don’t know what this means exactly I did see a couple a street beggars nearby the hotel and also in constant view was a massive building with a bright red sign saying ‘Sex Shop’; the surrounding area looked very run-down and depressing. I know there is an underground nearby and a frequent tram service available but personally I don’t want to be using public transport at night to get around. Also a lot of the trams I saw were crammed with people and mask wearing was compulsory. In terms of eating out nearby the hotel and finding nice restaurants, forget it, we counted about six kebab shops, three pizza takeaways and one pub. On our first night we went to this pub (over the road from the hotel) and the food and service was very good. However, on the next two evenings it was closed, including the Saturday night! If you are thinking of choosing this hotel and want to be close to the real Vienna I would strongly advise looking elsewhere, unless of course you are a student! Stephen Ward

A cheap but alright hotel hostel, location is okay and a ton of places around to eat when you head up a street. Staff was alright but the guests were just sleeping in the lobby half the time.

Quick check-in and location is just a 5-min walk from Wien hbf (Vienna Central Terminal). Clean room and bed, and good shower with shower gel. Remember to bring all other amenities eg slippers, drinking water etc.

Jazz In The City Hotel 28 February - 2 March 2023 Room 500 5 stars for its cleanliness and service! Location: We took the Vienna Airport Cab from the airport to the hotel. We paid Euro 37 (one way). It was very convenient. It took about 30 minutes. The driver drove carefully and was on time to fetch us at the airport. The hotel is accessible to the underground and shopping area. Reception: Excellent and very helpful! We were able to check in early and the room was already ready when we arrived. Room: Modern, fresh and very clean indeed! The bedsheets, pillow covers, towels and bed were all immaculately clean and dust free. It has all the amenities that you need. Our room was located in a quiet area. Bathroom/Toilet: Very clean indeed! Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! You can order sunny side up or omelette which is freshly cooked. Very clean and fresh breakfast area. Check out: Fast and effective! Recommendation: Why not paint the ceiling of the room white and paint the water pipes black? It will give a smooth, clean and fresh feel. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. The first thing that struck me was the cleanliness of the rooms. Housekeeping did an exceptional job, ensuring that everything was in order and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout my stay. One standout feature of this hotel was the complimentary mini bar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that not only was it stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, but also that I had the option to customize the items according to my personal preferences. This level of flexibility and attention to guest satisfaction was truly impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was another highlight of my stay. They were genuinely warm, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests I had. Breakfast at the hotel was a delightful experience, especially the Austrian breakfast offered. The variety of dishes, including traditional Austrian favorites, was a treat. The quality of the food was excellent, and the attentive staff ensured that everything was replenished promptly. It was a great way to start each day of my stay.

Mixed bag here. The hotel is walking distance to the Stadthalle, our main reason for booking. Lots of transport links around. Many Ubers and bolts, and about 30/40 minutes to the airport via taxi. Room size was adequate, with a mini fridge, which was unplugged with food and drink inside. It didn't really cool well, when we managed to plug it in. The beds were comfy. The room had tea and coffee making facilities, but no milk. Room had electric blinds which were cool, and room was good and dark when the curtains were closed. Breakfast was ok, pretty standard, nothing special. But still good to start the day with. Rooms on the street side are very very noisy. The hotel is near a shopping mall, so deliveries 5am-10am every morning. Vehicles lloading, banging, noise, men shouting, doors slamming etc. But not really the hotel's fault. At night people smoke outside. So you can't really open windows overnight if you want a decent night's sleep. The room got very stuffy and no real aircon. The cleaning staff start very early, around 9am, so again prospect of good sleep is hit and miss, but they are very friendly and polite. Room generally clean, but there were hairs in the sink and shower. Also hairs on the supposedly clean towels. Staff mostly friendly and accommodating. However, the price of drinks seemed to change every round, (normally increasing). There was one member of staff who had the most appalling attitude. On our last night the shower flooded badly, into the hallway of our room. We couldn't shower or use the toilet. We phoned reception. The staff member claimed he didnt understand what bathroom is flooded means. After 5 attempts at explaining. He said he would send a colleague up. Surprise! Surprise! No one came. We needed sleep due to early flight the next day. We went down to reception, we were ignored, treated with contempt, eye rolls, and he told us he couldn't help, he said he was on his own. So sending someone was a LIE!? He was at the bar pouring drinks slowly, while looking at us blankly and rolling his eyes. He demanded we take a seat, no apologies, no offer of a solution. Basically appalling customer service and no communication. He was quick to check in guests that came to reception, inbetween pouring drinks deliberately slowly to avoid us. The only thing he said was he was on his own and there were no spare rooms. Eventually, he came to our room and saw the problem. With a bad attitude he did try to unblock the drain to no avail. We were lucky enough to have him mop up the floor and give us more towels, upon us asking, no offer. The staff in the morning when we checked out were apologetic when we told them, which we appreciated, and did make us nice coffee's to go. Unfortunately it doesn't take the bad taste away, and we had a poor night's sleep as a result of the stress. No one deserves contempt, utter rudeness and unhelpfulness as a paying guest, especially when we should have been resting, ready for flying

Esperienza eccellente in coppia. Prenotato 4 notti presso questo Hotel per me e la mia ragazza, e devo dire che ne siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti. Punti a favore: - Camere nuove, pulite, spaziose (noi avevamo la standard e si stava benissimo), controllo temperatura direttamente dall'interno, condizionatore efficentissimo ed intuitivo, doccia ampia, minibar, cassaforte e tablet da cui controllare la TV e altre funzioni. - Posizione strategica a dir poco, davanti la fermata della Metro U1 che arriva in centro in 15 Min, bus e tram. - Tranquillità. Camere insonorizzate perfettamente, non abbiamo sentito un minimo rumore né dall'esterno, né dal corridoio, né dalle altre camere, aspetto che ho apprezzato moltissimo avendo il sonno leggero. - Palestra, seppur piccola, essenziale ed adatta ad un breve workout per chi non volesse priv****ne anche in vacanza. - Refill acqua infinito alle fontanelle in reception, anche se a detta dello staff l'acqua dei rubinetti di Vienna è potabile. Lati negativi: Anche se la nostra esperienza resta da 5 stelle, credo sia giusto sottolineare alcuni aspetti che potrebbero essere migliorati per rendere questo hotel impeccabile. - Colazione: 21€ a testa è una follia, non so cosa offrissero ma a quelle cifre nemmeno mangiando all'Hotel Sacher in centro. - Ascensori: utilizzabili solamente scannerizzando la tessere della propria camera, metodo sicuramente intelligente per evitare intrusi nell'hotel, ma a volte scomodo e malfunzionante, e in generale gli ascensori funzionano un po' macchinosamente. - Mancanza di un armadio in camera di qualche cassetto, seppure abbiamo apprezzato molto quella sorta di appendiabiti a cielo aperto all'ingresso. - Staff pulizie scortese al checkout: nonostante alla reception ci avessero detto che il checkout fosse possibile fino alle 12, già dalle 9 una signora delle pulizie è venuta a bussarci, ripetendo poi verso le 10, anche dopo averle detto che eravamo in fase di uscita e avremmo liberato la stanza per tempo. - Connessione alla TV: nonostante avessimo seguito la guida per connettere il telefono alla TV tramite Miracast, non ci ha funzionato nulla, abbiamo riprovato più volte ma niente, avremmo potuto domandare in reception ma alla fine non ne abbiamo avuto bisogno.
