Hotel 3 Bintang di Villandry

We stayed just one night as an overnight stop on our way back from Spain to the UK. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a comfortable large bed. The decor and bathroom needed an upgrade, but we could see that work was being carried out on other rooms. The same pleasant lady, booked us in, then vacuumed the stairs after the builders finished for the day. Then she came to our room with a pair of pliers to fix the radiator, afterwards she served dinner to us. The next morning, the same lady served our breakfast and later checked us out! Well done that lady, very professional with a sense of humour and such a hard worker. The evening dinner was delicious and beautifully presented, with fresh ingredients. The breakfast was fresh and enjoyable. The hotel is ideally located next to the chateau in a pretty little village. The car park is free and just across the road opposite. We would certainly visit again and next time pay a bit extra for a nicer room.

Si vous ne souhaitez pas faire de l’alpinisme pour accéder à votre chambre, évitez la chambre lavande !!! Elle est bien aménagée mais la salle d’eau est petite et pas très fonctionnelle . Il manque un «  pause valise «  . Sinon , la chambre a beaucoup de charme et la literie est confortable . Autre bémol , elle a un vis à vis direct . On aurait aimé avoir , à l’accueil , plus de renseignements sur les horaires et plus de détails pour le dîner .
