Maistra Select Pineta Hotel

"I’m sorry but having to pay 30€ each day for 2 people at the hotel’s own beach is just ridiculus and a huge money grab. This is just unacceptable, we’ve chosen this hotel specifically for the beach. The hotel is already very expensive for the service and quality, and they haven’t mentioned this anywhere. The tiny pool is free, which costs them an arm and a leg to maintain, this makes no sense at all. The rooms are very old and dirty, even the “premium room” has a 1 star feeling. Stay away from this hotel group."

"Totally brilliant from the time we arrived until the time (very sadly) we had to leave. The room was first class, lovely view from the balcony and very clean (every day). The reception staff were more than helpful as were the staff in the restaurant. The sea was wonderful and the short walk to Vrsar was very enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was excellent; hot and lots of choice both at breakfast and the evening meal. The location was superb. Quiet and very relaxing. We just can't fault it. In fact we enjoyed the whole experience so much we were tempted to phone TUI and say we were going to stay another week!"

"Well maintained quiet resort in beautiful location, close to fishing harbour, marina and pretty old town. Lovely coastal sea walk surrounding resort. Generous, clean and fresh accommodation with sea views and stunning sunsets. Rooms cleaned daily. Self service restaurant with range of breakfast and evening meal options. Limited vegetarian menu with many dishes mis-labelled. Busy restaurant and sometimes difficult to find a free dining table in the evenings. During our stay there was no evening entertainment and morning half hour activity sessions on alternate mornings for first week only. Surprised by limited bus service the timetable effective from September from Vrsar to Porec ran at 7.20, 14.40 and 15.33 with return from Porec to Vrsar at 6.30, 14.20 and 15.20 costing 4.10 euros one way. No buses from Vrsar to Rovinj or Pula. No bus service at weekends. Alternative methods of transport included boat trips, taxis, bike/car hire or walking. A great place to relax and unwind."

"We rented a Superior Bay Mobile Home for two people. It is 22 sqm and we paid €1,687.00 for 7 nights. This was not worth the price at all! The first thing that met us was a rat sitting outside the camper. We saw rats two more times on the porch while we were outside. We heard them in the wall of the camper at night. On the third day we noticed a funny smell behind the coach. Also here we heard animals at the roof and in the walls, but dont know what this was. We asked to move and got another camper. When we asked if we could extend our check out on the last day, they didn't even offer us a free stay as compensation. They do no cleaning during the week, no replenishment of toilet paper or towels. This is very expensive with such little service. We stayed at Valata naturist camping a week before, and the service there was outstanding, and almost half the price. We absolutely recommend Valalta instead and Koversada."

Maistra Select Riva Apartments

"The hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable and very comfortable. In addition to not being able to sleep there, the apartment is old and not very clean, the kitchen is dysfunctional (fridge does not close), the very old bathroom, the really small balcony and the household is forgotten some days. The staff is disintegrated when you repeat "we know, sorry" but there is no solution to offer."

Campsite Porto Sole

"Avoid like the plague Beautiful campsite but completely inaccurate website and information regarding facilities. Be prepared to pay to breathe here. All activities including football and basketball chargeable at 15 euros ph, no barbecues provided or allowed despite booking confirmation and no microwave as advertised Great bet if you want nothing for your kids to do, or anything to eat that can’t be boiled or fried on the hob for 2 weeks Absolutely gutted. Would never have chosen this campsite for our once a year family holiday had Eurocamp provided up to date information on their website, or updated us prior to travel"
