"Location is great but is expensive. They have tried to automate things but means a hit on service. Did not tell us about registering the car numberplate in a computer as part of check in. We then got stuck at a barrier just popping out to see the area. Then had to pay the barrier as no humans. Then had to make a claim. Then still waiting for the claim. Computers reduce headcount but reduce service. The hotel itself is fine but was not value for money."

"Great location as central. Hotel is nice, modernised and clean. However, wary of infection control and allergy concerns, unsure how the hotel manages this. Noted to have many guests with dogs and were allowed to have them in the common room and dining hall. Are there only specific rooms that are only dedicated to these specific guests? Breakfast was mayhem. Plenty of guests to have their meal but no table area to sit. To add guests with their dogs which is not to our liking. Should there have been a booked/schedule mealtime if they anticipate large volume of bookings. Overall, experience could have been perfect. Staffs are polite and helpful. The hotel is nice except for above mentioned."

Our friends stayed in a wheelchair accessible room. We attended a show at the NEC so this hotel was handy & about 20 miles away. As advertised on TV, the beds are comfortable too"

"As an individual traveler, I appreciate the hotel's proximity to my office, which is only a 10-minute walk. The hotel provides excellent amenities, including a microwave and refrigerator, which is fantastic. However, I was disappointed by the limited parking, the fact that some restaurants are closed on Tuesdays, and the non-functional sockets in my room, which prevented me from using the fridge, charging my devices, and even using the kettle. On the bright side, the staff is incredibly friendly. Vikas and a kind lady whose name I didn't catch were both very helpful in resolving the socket issue."

"Another great stay here, our room was the exact same as usual however some of the lights were abit naff or didn’t work this time around, no major issues but shame compared to previous stays. Likewise the tv remote was very temperamental this time around. But as it was booked in advance for a cheap night it was great."

"Unfortunately there were only 2 young lads working in the whole hotel. They didn’t seem very knowledgable, they charged me for the stay although I had already paid through trip - they did refund me, but that was after I went to speak to them showing them my bank statement.. and my husband then had to go back again to get the refund sorted! For some reason speaking to me wasn’t enough!! They had hardly any meals available in the restaurant. Only burgers! The room itself needs a massive uplift, the bathroom looked really unclean and falling apart. Really sad stay considering it was part of a Christmas gift. Definitely won’t be returning."
