"6 bed dorm with bathroom could use more hangers or hooks for jackets. Bathroom door needed maintenance, it needed to be slammed to close it so that noise throughout the night and morning. Hostel is kept pretty clean throughout and the heating was good for winter."

The selection was always replenished immediately. -The hosts were excellent at looking after us. Tips were given and all questions were adequately answered. -The rooms were cleaned regularly every day. -The walk to the center was about ten minutes. There was a bus stop right in front of the guesthouse. -There were enough parking spaces."

"Weimar is one of the cultural highlights, Bauhaus, Goethe, Schiller ... The Furstenhof is near to the city center, a bus stop is very near to the hotel, either if you want to go to the main station or the main square in the city. The room was very spacey, a huge flat screen, a good wardrobe and several cushions are given. The bathroom was not to huge, the shower need a step to walk in. A fridge with chilled drinks is on the same floor outside the room, what improves the silence in the room. The room has lots of places for things, a desk and some chairs. The breakfast in a very cozy and silent room is well assorted, with freh fruit sald, tasty buns (wow), cheese, ham, marmalade, cereals, boiled eggs, joghurt. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Next time again..."

"Nice small hotel, beautifully decorated, near the center, but quiet. Railway station about 15. Min walking distance. Good bed, WiFi OK Personal 50/50... But - - - the shower was a lounge and the water was just loud! The lady at the emergency phone just explained how a shower works (!) and then, quote: "What should I do now? I am not a climper" Not the answer you expect from a hotel in such a problem. So - the evening before my business date and next morning it was called "The search for the hot water drops" The reception should have been occupied, but it wasn't, which me did not have any iron available (The not occupied reception was communicated 2 days before, but I was already on business trip). Only a friendly retailer, with whom I bought a clothing piece, and who borrowed me his iron, helped me appear appropriate at my business date. The room was very cool, heating was closed and there was only one deck in the room. As well as only 2 towels and only 2 very soft kits (I like to sleep higher...) All very "counted", what I find unsympathetic. Safe, yes, but in mini-format, most suitable for jewelry. Laptop, camera - no chance. At the check-out, I was not granted a discount for the discomfort - to make it mild - with the shower, nor at least a free drink offered. Therefore, despite good location and beautiful decor, not from my side recommendable, and if I travel business next time to Weimar, I will stay again, as always, in Erfurt, which is only 15 minutes by train."

"I was able to stay here for about $100, breakfast included. The room was very clean, although perhaps somewhat dated in style. There is still a little bit of the East German styling leftover here. But I was very pleased with the room and even more pleased with the breakfast. The food was fresh and a wide variety of traditional German breakfast foods was offered. The staff at the front desk and the dining room were kind and attentive. Overall, it was a great stay and an even better value!"

"When I came, I saw a country house in the rain from a distance. It was the kind of big house in Agatha's novel that stood alone in a field. At night, there would be a secret room. I was looking forward to getting up in the morning and serving a cup of coffee to go for a walk in the endless fields. I found that I could rent and lived without thinking. I woke up in the morning and heard the rain hitting the window. I opened the curtains and was stunned by the sight. The cherry blossom trees in the garden downstairs were swaying in the rain, and the petals were snowing. The window was wrapped around the thick vines, and the rain was smashed on the grass. The smell was the fragrance of wet moss, earth and grass forest. It's so beautiful. Be sure to come and live!"
