The staff at the hotel were consistently friendly and went out of their way to help with anything we needed, whether it was local recommendations or assistance with plans for weekends.​ The hotel’s relaxed atmosphere was perfect after long workdays, and it’s clear that guest comfort and satisfaction are a priority here. I truly appreciated how attentive and accommodating the staff were throughout our stay. "The operating systems are very slow we had to wait 20 minutes to be assigned the room passcode. We had to request that the geyser be switched on for hot water and the pressure of the shower was terrible. There is zero privacy between the guests and the people that stay there (family). They are very loud. You have to ring the doorbell every time you enter and exit the premises. "

"We stayed here on the first day of our tour and again on the last. The rooms are fine and the breakfast is extensive. The garden is beautiful but could use some updating. Some chairs are broken and the pool looks dirty. The staff is helpful and friendly. We wanted to go into the “town” and they arranged a taxi service with Simon. He takes you there and picks you up because the guesthouse is too far to walk. We had lunch once. They have a small menu."

We slept in Sable chalet, consisting of a kitchen, lounge (with TV), bedroom, en suite bathroom and a spacious veranda. We watched the match between the Springboks and the All Blacks at the bar / restaurant. Dinner was very tasty. Our stay there was very enjoyable and relaxing. We can honestly recommend Eden Chalets for more than one day's stay over. Win and Jose Vieira"

"I chose this hotel because it's right next to the shuttle bus stop for the Namib Desert. The property is quite large, and it's a bit of a trek with heavy luggage from the entrance where the security guard is. It's essentially designed for travelers with cars, allowing you to park right next to your room. The room amenities and cleanliness are perfectly adequate. The restaurant food is also delicious. If they just added a convenience store or a small shop, you could pretty much do everything you need within the hotel itself."

"All in all, it's a good place for a day or two. Location is not too far from everything of interest, security is good. They have a pool and sell beers when shops are closed. AC and fridge worked perfectly well. No issues with hot water as well. Staff was great. My only complaint is the twin bed in a room marked as a double - even though it was clearly stated that there are twin beds, a double should have a double bed. My sleep was not too comfy in a setup with two small beds posing as one king/queen one. But overall I had a pleasant stay. Can recommend."

The top of the hostel has a rooftop bar with nice social gatherings. The owner TaShi provides great customer service. He is Namibian, so it is nice to support locals in their business endeavors. "
