The hotel has a great location and follows a very traditional chain hotel management model. There are supermarkets and many restaurants nearby, and hygiene and safety are generally good. The downside is that breakfast doesn't start until 7:30 am, which is inconvenient for early risers. Hotels in Dunhuang offer breakfast at 6 am, and the same applies to Zhangye and Lanzhou at 7 am. Don't underestimate the importance of the half-hour time difference!"

The reception area is a separate little courtyard; you need to call to check in, as the navigation isn't accurate. It's actually located in a stone alley right next to the parking lot. The service was excellent, very responsive, and the recommended place to buy charging cables was a great deal at 15 yuan, not far at all. They even made two large cups of tea before I left and delivered them to the parking lot. I'll definitely stay here again!"
