I had a great time at this hotel. The location is great next to a shopping street and the room was beautiful and was kept very clean. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helped me plan an amazing overnight trip to Yangshuo. I’d high recommend this place to anyone traveling in Guilin/Yangshuo! I’d recommend riding around the city with the rental e-scooters and taking a river cruise to spend the night in Yangshuo while you’re here (you won’t regret it)

The location is perfect, with plenty of nearby attractions and amenities just a short walk away. And, I must say, the hotel's warmth and hospitality made me feel right at home. I spent my nights snug inside my room, sipping beer and enjoying the chill vibes - it was the perfect way to recharge. Highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and great location. For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water. Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk. It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes. As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming.

All the staff speak fluent English, warm and thoughtful, They provide hand-drawn maps, recommend authentic local food, and even help with itinerary planning(Li river and longji rice terraced),and arranging carpools. Great Location, it's only about 600 meters from Guilin Station ( 5-6 minutes walk). It's also very convenient for visiting attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area.Highly recommended!!!

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, despite us not speaking Chinese and them not speaking English! They booked our taxi back to Hezhou station and when we could not find the hotel (the map pin is in the wrong place - it’s really just through the gate after the big tree), they came to collect us and walked us to the place. The bed was a good size and very comfy. Room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Bathroom was small but Huangyao is a short stop so this doesn’t matter too much - shower was good and hot. It was a shame that the door was bolted closed at 6:45am so I couldn’t go for an early stroll - 24/7 reception advertised but maybe not provided.

I stayed solo for 4 days at Gu’an Yuefeng Hotel and overall the experience was very pleasant. Even though the staff almost always struggled with English, they were kind and helpful. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the magical karst hills and panoramic views that Guilin is famous for. One of the best things is the location: the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, and one of the hills is literally right next to the building. From my balcony, I could admire the magnificent Guilin landscape every day. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but it’s clear that they are still expanding and improving the facilities. The washing and drying machines were extremely convenient, and the Wi-Fi was very fast, which made the stay comfortable even for a longer solo visit. The only small downside was that I did not receive the special noodles at check-out, which had been mentioned beforehand. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with beautiful views, a great surrounding area, and good practical amenities.

來到黃姚，幸福感是客棧給的。在春節期間訂到這家客棧最後一間房，很幸運。房間進去給我一種寧靜的體驗，好想時光就這樣靜止了。好喜歡房間的落地窗，還有屋頂，古樸。旁邊還有一個小陽台，可以看到美麗的湖和煙火。下次來，還要住這這裏。距離接龍門非常近，很方便，而且客棧有前後兩個門，非常驚喜。
