I had a great time at this hotel. The location is great next to a shopping street and the room was beautiful and was kept very clean. The hotel staff were very accommodating and helped me plan an amazing overnight trip to Yangshuo. I’d high recommend this place to anyone traveling in Guilin/Yangshuo! I’d recommend riding around the city with the rental e-scooters and taking a river cruise to spend the night in Yangshuo while you’re here (you won’t regret it)

All the staff speak fluent English, warm and thoughtful, They provide hand-drawn maps, recommend authentic local food, and even help with itinerary planning(Li river and longji rice terraced),and arranging carpools. Great Location, it's only about 600 meters from Guilin Station ( 5-6 minutes walk). It's also very convenient for visiting attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill and the Two Rivers and Four Lakes area.Highly recommended!!!

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

I stayed solo for 4 days at Gu’an Yuefeng Hotel and overall the experience was very pleasant. Even though the staff almost always struggled with English, they were kind and helpful. The hotel has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy the magical karst hills and panoramic views that Guilin is famous for. One of the best things is the location: the hotel is surrounded by many restaurants, and one of the hills is literally right next to the building. From my balcony, I could admire the magnificent Guilin landscape every day. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but it’s clear that they are still expanding and improving the facilities. The washing and drying machines were extremely convenient, and the Wi-Fi was very fast, which made the stay comfortable even for a longer solo visit. The only small downside was that I did not receive the special noodles at check-out, which had been mentioned beforehand. Overall, a very enjoyable stay with beautiful views, a great surrounding area, and good practical amenities.

For this price point, this Hotel is amazing. Don’t go in there and expect luxury. What you get is a good night sleep and that’s it. Room was somewhat cold and AC remote didn’t work, but I didn’t bother asking for batteries. Shower pressure is on the weaker side. You get a big bed, but a tiny table. Shower Gel and Shampoo were present, but no soap, so I did do with Shower Gel. There were some traces of mold, but not really something that chased me out of the door. There were no strong odors and you get 2 free bottles of water. Wifi had a little of problems as the instructions and the actual PW are not up-to-date. So ask for the Wifi PW at the front desk. It’s in walking distance to the 2 Rivers and 4 Lakes Scenic Area as well as the Elephant Trunk Hill Scenic Area. And with the electric bikes nearly everywhere, you can reach Reed Flute Cave in 20 minutes. As I didn’t prepare enough, I didn’t manage to visit the the rice terraces, but they are the least impressive this time of year. So the regret is not to overwhelming.

Our stay was amazing! The room was spacious, clean and lovely. We had a gorgeous view of mountains from a panoramic window ⛰️ there is everything you need in the room. The food is delicious 🍱 and the breakfast is included! The owner was extremely sweet and helpful! It was our first stay in China and the experience was delightful ❤️ she gave us really good recommendations, helped with any booking we needed and even escorted to the singing cave herself. She literally did everything she could for us ❤️ Also, location is super convenient if you want to go to the singing cave (must see! It’s magical) . It’s about 7 minutes walk! The city centre is 20 minutes away by car 🚘

What a wonderful hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm and charming welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The rooms are beautifully maintained and offer stunning views of the surroundings. The peaceful location is perfect for anyone looking to relax and unwind, yet it’s still close enough to explore the area with ease. And the breakfast — absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and offered plenty of choice. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality of the staff. We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, tranquility, and a touch of charm. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a lovely stay, the property is very close to west street but in a quieter spot. The views from the balcony are amazing and the room was clean and comfortable.

Incredible hotel with the kindest, most helpful hosts! The hostel is also located perfectly for hiking to all three viewing spots, being fairly high up the mountain already. The hosts helped us book the bus from Guilin to Dazhai, and arranged a car to take us from the parking lot to the hotel for free. When we left, they also brought our luggage down for us and helped arrange for someone to take us to Ping’an, another village in the Longji area. The room was gorgeous, huge and perfectly clean. The view from the 4th floor dining area is also amazing. While we stayed there, the hosts helped us with the hiking routes to all the famous spots, and gave us their WeChat so we could call them if we got lost or needed any help while hiking. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and I cannot recommend this place enough!
