Popular is only one step away from the bus station and train station, I like it very much.
The surrounding environment of this hotel is very good, you can see a good scenery
The front desk was great, especially Justina and Dooly on the night shift were very friendly and English was great!
Overall this hotel left a good impression on me

Hotel Bauernhof is a self check in hotel that does not have an on-site reception. Rather, its reception is located only 1 minute away at Hotel Apart. Both locations are right outside of the train station Rotkreuz. When I walked out of the train station, We went into Hotel Apart to do in person check in. It was 2pm and check in time was supposed to be by 3pm. The reception was nice enough to let us get the room right away. The room is small yet fully equipped with coffee and tea. Housekeeping is good. No problem for checking out in person at Hotel Apart as well. Everything goes very smoothly. The hotel rate is much cheaper than those located in Luzern. This hotel is only about 20 minutes train ride to the center of Luzern. Mount Rigi and Mount Stans are close by (within one hour train ride). Nice stay.
