Hotel Dengan WiFi di Wilayah Antofagasta, Chile

I stayed the second time at the Antofagasta Holiday Inn. The rooms are spacious and if you want to have an open window during the night, I recommend the rooms oriented toward the town. The rooms toward the sea have a nice seaview, but are noisy because of the main road along the coast. The bed and bedding is fairly new and comfortable. The brakfast buffet is good and always reststuffed. The staff is very nice and attentive. The 1 star deduction is because of very weak internet. It is not reliable. This needs improvement.

Everything was ok, despite an incident in the last days. On the second last day, I left my wallet at the hotel, inside my bag, which was inside the closet, to go on a tour. When I returned back home and did my financial balance, I realized that 100 Euros were missing from my wallet. I want to make it clear that I write knowing that the guests' property is their responsibility, however, as I went out that day to hike a volcano, I thought it would be safer to keep my wallet in the room, since I wasn't using cash in Atacama, only credit card. I am writing to report what happened so that you can be aware of possible incidents at the hotel. I understand that individual actions do not reflect a company and the whole crew, but I tried to contact the hotel later and I didn't receive any sort of explanation. I checked on Booking and there's another comment about theft. The other guest was there last month as well.

We went to Hotel Terrado in Antofagasta because it was recommended by some friends. Considering the price, the service is subpar. The location has a perfect view to the sea and it’s central enough to move around the city without any problems. However, the hotel service needs improvement if they want to attract more people traveling for leisure. After three days in the hotel where we kept our beds made and our room clean, it was an ordeal to get a maid to change our sheets and clean our room. I asked three times and finally someone went around 7 pm to do the room. That particular day we were mostly out of the room while sightseeing and visiting some friends. Every time we returned to the hotel to change clothes or to use the bathroom, we realized the room was still in disarray. The receptionist Valentina was particularly concerned and helpful. Finally we got a maid to come, I felt bad for her because it was so late in the day, she probably wanted to go home. The breakfast buffet was excellent and also the waiting staff ( very kind and helpful). The restaurant of the hotel has good quality of food and drinks. However, the host of the restaurant was enthralled with her phone and when I asked why nobody was taking my order she said “we open at 1 pm” ( it was 1:07 pm). She freaked out when she realized it was actually time to start working. Some of the staff didn’t realize we were lodging in the hotel and rudely told us we didn’t have a reservation to use a table at dinner time (We’ve been in the hotel for three days by then). It’s ok not to know we were guests, it’s not ok the way they ask, in front of everyone, in an annoyed tone, and loudly. The manager of the hotel compensated our consume of a few drinks and cake the day of the cleaning the room mishap. We were grateful. One supervisor came to us to tell us about the free food/drinks and he was nice, until he started a weird diatribe about him being Mapuche instead of Chilean ( legally he is also Chilean in spite of being Mapuche…) Then he informed us ( mostly me, because my husband doesn’t speak Spanish) that Chileans are a horrible group of mixed races including “Spaniards, Arabs and Jews”. I was so shocked I just told him I also have Mapuche blood plus many other nationalities ( guess what… including Spaniard, Arab and Jewish). Everybody is entitled to their opinions and views, but when working in the hospitality industry, one need to be careful not to offend the guests. By the way, I’m Chilean with American citizenship. For once I was glad my husband didn’t understand Spanish. The next day a friend of mine came to visit with me and we went to the hotel restaurant to have a cup of coffee and water. All the days I’ve been there I didn’t charge anything to my room, because I prefer to pay as I go and keep all the receipts. The day of arrival, besides paying our stay in full, we paid a warranty of around $ 350 (approximately) to cover any charges or incidentals. I was sharing time with my

The Park Hotel near the airport in Calama is a modern accommodation with decent sized rooms and all amenities. The bathroom was a little tight but functional. It is a sprawling hotel and some rooms are quite a way from reception. There is a restaurant and breakfast included. Though it’s technically an airport hotel, you still need a taxi to get there and the cost is $US10. I paid $US60 for my room. Had to wait around a bit to get the keys as owner didn't come but guys in the hostel sorted me out well and even gave me coffee. Would recommend

Absolutely loved our stay here, after being in hostels for the past few weeks we treated ourselves and felt like we did just that. The staff were extremely lovely and helpful in regard to where to go, what trips to do etc and anything we needed they accommodated for. The rooms were stunning and the bed was extremely comfy (needed after hostel beds). The only ****** was the water pressure of the shower and no hair dryer etc in the room but can’t say that made a difference to our stay. If you are going to Atacama, you have to stay here!

Once we had eaten and completed the check in process someone from the tour desk sat down with us and planned our itinerary for our stay. It was hard to choose between all the excursions as there were so many that sounded amazing. However he listened to what we wanted and enjoyed, and we loved every excursion that he helped us pick out. We did the stargazing twice which was incredible, we planned our stay around the new moon which I would really recommend doing if you’re there for the stargazing. The food in the restaurant was incredible, as was the food we had on the excursions. All the staff were fantastic.

We did the stargazing twice which was incredible, we planned our stay around the new moon which I would really recommend doing if you’re there for the stargazing. The food in the restaurant was incredible, as was the food we had on the excursions. All the staff were fantastic.

Muy bien ubicado en la zona centro de San Pedro, es un hostel que tiene buenas habitaciones, buen espacio de baños que son compartidos con el restó que está en el lugar. Por ahí uno confunde si es un restó con hostel o viceversa. No hice uso del desayuno porque todos los tours que arrancan a la mañana te dan. Puntos a mejorar sería que al ser una zona donde los tours arrancan muy temprano y algunos terminan muy tarde (el de las estrellas) la recepción tendría que tener un horario más extendido porque sino pasa (como aconteció) que se daña el teclado de ingreso con código y la gente se queda afuera o la gente se va muy temprano y el hostel queda abierto sin nadie que controle.

Great place to stay, very cozy and quiet. Service and staff were very kind. Our overall rating would be about a 4.6 out of 5. The food at the restaurant is great. In terms of minor details, we didn't like that the bathroom and shower did not have separate doors. They are connected, but does't feel very private. Water gets out of the shower since there is no shower door. Lighting inside the rooms was also quite low. There were saunas and hot tubs, but the saunas were not on when we tried to use them, and the sauna was cold. Other than those minor details, the place is very nice and recommendable. The premium room has a hot tub inside and it is a wonderful experience. It is in a very central location, close to the Main Street of the pueblo.

Anything we did not have in the room was available on request from the reception, including the humidifier that was placed in our room on our request as the air is very dry in Atacama. We also appreciated the environmental conscious approach by the hotel including the bottles to refill gifted to us upon arrival and the water fountain with water 24/7. The hotel also offered free (very good quality) coffee including espresso, cappuccino, etc. all day long. The parking is rather small, but the staff who is always available can park the car if needed and find a place. The service is a separate topic that we really wanted to highlight. Throughout all the hotel from the front desk to the cleaning staff around everyone was very nice and always available not only for our requests, but also anticipated many of them. Especially we really enjoyed to chat with Florencia in the restaurant. The restaurant onsite has limited menu, but the food was outstanding with very reasonable prices. Though the concept of a la carte breakfast is not something we usually like, but it was always fresh. We would also have appreciated more information about the places to visit, but there are plenty of shops outside of the hotel who can provide it. We would definitely recommend this place and will stay again if we come back!

Me aloje en una habitación individual durante 5 noches. La cama era muy cómoda y la ducha excelente, ideal para recuperarse luego de las excursiones. Cocina completa con todo lo necesario (horno industrial, vajilla, utensilios de cocina varios, heladera, etc). Limpieza 10 puntos, tanto de la habitacion como de los distintos espacios comunes. Personal muy atento y amable, dispuesto a ayudar y dar recomendaciones. Alquilan bicicletas a buen precio. Hay dos patios en el lugar: uno con mesas donde se puede desayunar/comer y otro que cuenta con sillones de madera y dos hamacas paraguayas. El lugar tienr esteticamente detalles bonitos, se encuentra cuidado y bien mantenido. Resumiendo, mi experiencia fue excelente y recomiendo fuertemente alojarse en La Yareta.

OK checkout begins exactly at 3pm...we were there at 2:45pm and the reception person (male) was a problem...There were plenty of rooms available but he had his orders: 3pm and no sooner. Perhaps we could get the paperwork done in advance? (2) AVOID the dinner in the restaurant: average food at best; small portions and very high price. (Maybe have a hamburger if hungry - there are a number of small places just down the road (north) that are better and much less expensive. (3) Internet: in the rooms it is not very good (slow...especially at peak times). They do have a business connection which allows one to plug a laptop directly into a router...but these days who carries that cord with them? Hotel will not lend you one..Finally (3) shower: water pressure not great and water is warm only - especially at peak times (like 730am when you most want to take a shower). This hotel seems to have been designed (or maintained) for times of minimal use...”rush hour” reveals its many flaws. Air BnB's much (much) better value in Antofagasta - go that route instead.

Ame el hotel súper acogedor la atención 7/7 muy atento todos los trabajadores y Todo impecable la habitación la amé y La viste no tenía precio, logré desconectarme totalmente o mejor es que está cerca del mall y de las playas la comida del restaurant súper rica

Exelente servicio y cálida atención, viaje con mi mascota, reciben animalitos hasta 15 kg , lo trataron como Rey, súper cariñosos con el, las instalaciones muy limpias e higiénicas, exelente desayunos, almuerzos y cenas variadas en resumen una muy buena experiencia

Viaje junto a mi esposa y pudimos, gracias a Memphis Tour, obtener una experiencia extraordinaria. Sus guias son muy preparados y están permanentemente preocupados de cada detalle, 100% recomendable!! Nuestro próximo destino lo haremos con uds.. Gracias Mahmoud, Peter Samuel, Ahmed (Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel), Michael (El Cairo-Pirámides)..
